In pictures: Lisa and Rosco’s Completed House on The Block 2026

Lisa and Rosco were the only team to steer away from the ‘light and bright’ brief on The Block this year – and it just might make them winners.
That is, by Week 5 when they began adopting gorgeous dark timber features and luxurious walnut brown accents throughout that really caught the judges’ eyes.
The couple took some big risks, will they pay off in the end? Nine
By Week 6, the judges were so blown away, real estate expert Marty Fox declared buyers would be “fighting” for this house for its distinctive colour palette.
Judge Shaynna Blaze was equally blown away, saying she would live in this house without a doubt.
“I’m going to have to check my finances because I would buy this, 100 per cent,” she said at the time.
Only time will tell come Auction Day this Sunday.
Keep reading to see Lisa and Rosco’s completed house in full.
House 3’s Guest Bedroom | Week 1
House 3’s Guest Bedroom was actually designed by Courtney and Sev, who were temporarily assigned House 3.
They then threw absolutely everything at it to win the House Decider challenge, hoping to swap to House 4 – and it all panned out just as they’d hoped.
Courtney and Sev definitely went a little wild with their design, desperate to win the House Decider challenge. Nine
The win was thanks to a game-changing bedhead Sev made herself and some other clever (but expensive) features.
The judges thought it was very impressive and architectural.
There was an issue with the wardrobe doors, which they had decided to micro-cement over to better fit the light and bright brief, but besides that the judges found little to critique.
Domain’s Alice Stolz said it was so stylish it belonged on the cover of a magazine.
The wardrobe doors were already starting to chip. Nine
“They’re giving themselves work, as if this is the quality in the guest bedroom? Imagine the living, the main. This could go next level. They’re going to be very hard to beat,” Marty said.

House 3’s Family Bathroom | Week 2
Unfortunately Lisa and Rosco didn’t finish their Family Bathroom at the time after they were forced to rip up their tiles.
Darren said he was “in love” with the vanity. “It’s yummy, I wanna touch it,” he said. Nine
Despite the unfinished space, the judges praised the layout, having a separate powder room. They could also see the vision, praising the materials and details the team chose.
With Auction Day this Sunday, we can confirm the room is completely finished and looks absolutely stunning!
House 3’s Main Bedroom and Walk-in Robe | Week 3
In Week 3, Lisa and Rosco scored their first and only Room Reveal win, delivering a space the judges thought was “almost” perfection.
The judges were in disbelief at the entire walls and ceiling’s lime plaster. “Bloody beautiful, is what it is,” Darren Palmer said. Nine
The judges were obsessed with the curve on the wall, which “mimicked the curve of the coastline when you stand out on the balcony.”
“It’s got that beautiful minimalism that we’ve seen next door, but then it’s got these pops of colour and tones that really work,” said Marty. Nine
The only problem was that the room didn’t have a black-out curtain option. “What a bummer, because it’s almost perfection,” Shaynna said.
House 3’s walk-in robe was designed by Courtney and Sev before they swapped after Week 1’s House Decider. Lisa and Rosco couldn’t take the credit, but they could reap the rewards! Nine
As for the wardrobe, the judges loved the space. From the beautiful Concertino stone to the styling, they had “no notes” about the incredible robe.
The space included a very functional vanity area. Nine

House 3’s Main Ensuite | Week 4
Lisa and Rosco wanted to bring a sense of calm to their Main Ensuite. At the time, they fell just short of finishing, but have finished it now!
Marty Fox was loving the bathroom before he even walked in, saying how much he loved the style of the door. Nine
The judges fell in love with the timber vanity and appreciated how the traditional style contrasted with the otherwise very modern ensuite.
Marty Fox, however, once again branded the crazy pavement as “very Flinestone-ish”. Darren agreed saying, actual crazy pavement rather than man-made tiles would’ve been better.
Thankfully the judges could breathe a sigh of relief in the shower space, which felt a lot more simplistic. Nine

House 3’s Living, Dining and Alfresco | Week 5
As soon as the judges walked in, Marty was immediately concerned about the size of the dining table.
Was the table the right size for the space? Nine
Darren agreed, adding that the orientation of the furniture was all wrong. The room was fine for watching TV, but everyone was missing out on the beautiful view outside. Nothing a switch around couldn’t fix!
“That milky oat flooring, and the beautiful colour they’ve put on the walls brings that softness and energy it deserves,” Shaynna praised. Nine
Outside, Marty was blown away: “Cooking! Lounge! Dining! This is what they have to do. I literally cannot fault it. I think it’s the best one we’ve seen.”
Darren did question why you’d need a barbecue upstairs when you have the kitchen nearby. Nine
Darren pointed out a huge flaw – the majority of seating and the position of the barbecue meant you would have your back to the view.
“To say that I am frustrated by them not making the most of this [view] would be the biggest understatement of the day,” he said.

House 3’s Guest Suite | Week 6
Lisa and Rosco transformed their guest bedroom from “bad hotel” room, to one that oozed a rich burgundy palette and soft touch of luxury.
The team swapped out the bedhead, bed spread, cushions, art work, sconces, bed side tables and styling during their re-do week. Nine
The original design was labelled predictable, as Darren said: “There isn’t anything that’s bad or offensive in here, but there also isn’t anything that is innovative or defining.”
But that soon all changed! Nine
The judges questioned why the couple would give up about a metre of storage space for a desk that guests are unlikely to use, as Shaynna called the actual storage space “pitiful”.
Thankfully, there was plenty to love in the bathroom. Marty immediately honed in on the gorgeous tiles and the amazing craftsmanship on the vanity. Nine
Marty gave the bathroom a whopping “10 out of 10” across the board.

House 3’s Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry and Powder Room | Week 7
The judges were obsessed with the splash of colour, the stone choice and the seats at the end of the island.
“Oh look at this!” Shaynna said excitedly when she entered the kitchen. “It’s just everything, the colour, the size...WOW.” Nine
Shaynna was blown away by the arch details, while Marty added the chocolate coloured cabinetry beautifully complimented the living and dining room.
Shaynna said she would live in the house without a doubt: “I’m going to have to check my finances because I would buy this, 100 per cent.” Nine
Marty thought buyers would be “fighting” for this house, being the only home without the light and bright colour palette.
However, the powder room left the judges disappointed.
Marty questioned why the basin wasn’t centred. Nine
“The green [tile] isn’t the decision I would make,” Darren said, before pointing out that the layout felt “squished.”

House 3’s Rumpus and Laundry | Week 8
The judges loved the continuation of dark wood and cabinetry this week, but added a bronze mirror would have made for the perfect splashback.
Shaynna said the layout and design choices made the room feel relaxed and laid back. Nine
Moving into the laundry, the judges obsessed over the dark cabinetry with the dark washing and dryer – plus the fully built-in robot vacuum unit.
Moving into the laundry, the judges had more positive comments. Nine

House 3’s Kids Bedroom | Week 9
Lisa and Rosco were one of only two teams to follow through with the kids’ room brief in Week 9. It was exactly what judges were hoping to see.
“This is so sweet,” Shaynna said. Nine
The judges loved that the space could easily be converted into a room for a teen or an adult. The team also scored big ticks for their storage and room layout.
“This is, it’s beautiful,” Shaynna said. “The colour palette is perfect, the way they’ve layed it out. The fantasy. The excitement.” Nine

House 3’s Outdoor Terrace and Pool | Week 10
In Week 10, the judges immediately commented on the “beautiful colour palette”, but that’s about where the positive feedback ended.
At least the deck didn’t feel too cluttered compared to other houses! Nine
The judges worried the height of the outdoor table would obstruct the water views from inside. “At eye level [inside] you can at least see down to the pool area,” said Darren.
And at least the wire chairs weren’t too obstructive. Nine
They also questioned the placement of the smoker. “A smoker needs to be in a bigger space I feel,” said Marty. “Like, it’s right next to the living space.”
But the biggest issue was the pool fence. With a fence on the deck and a second fence around the pool, an awkward walkway was created between the two.
That’s a metre that you’ve lost in that area,” Shaynna said. Nine
The colour of the pool scored big ticks, but judges questioned the lack of seating.

House 3’s Backyard and Garage | Week 11
Immediately the judges appreciated the treeline against the fence, saying their “privacy strategy” was a plus.
“They have this gift of land and they’ve mulched 75 per cent of it,” Marty said. Nine
However, Marty was not impressed by the lack of grass in the backyard. “They’ve taken away their X-factor by not having lawn, I’m really frustrated,” Marty said.
Frustration dropped when they saw the “beautiful” fire place space around the corner in “perfect position”.
Moving into the garage, they weren’t so impressed, with the judges moving on quickly. Nine
Through the garage, the judges adored the courtyard and accompanying sauna. They wished however the outlook from the sauna looked more lush, adding it was a “wasted space”.
Shaynna agreed, adding the paving should have been extended to make more room for entertaining. Nine

House 3’s Front Yard and Façade | Week 12
Lisa and Rosco’s front yard included an outdoor dining area, a hidden “secret weapon”, a pizza oven and a grassy space for kids to eat to play.
Shaynna called the space “every family’s dream”. Nine
The judges felt it was the “most usable” garden they’d seen so far and loved the native plants displayed.
“If you are doing a stone wall, I’d like to see natural stone at the bottom, next to it,” Dave Frankline said. Nine
While they were unconvinced by the white stone cladding, jaws dropped as the judges saw Lisa and Rosco’s secret weapon: the ultimate “dude ranch”, complete with a beer tap, spit and TV.
Scotty Cam had just one word for it, “Fantastic”. Nine
Around the corner, Darren found a lot to love with the adorable kids’ picnic table and umbrella set up on the grass.
They felt the whole space flowed together with the backyard and pool area. Nine
