Weather Situation A moist and unstable airmass is situated across most of New South Wales, ahead of a trough and cold front set to cross through the state during the day. Isolated severe thunderstorms have developed ahead of this trough and are moving rapidly to the east and southeast. Severe storms are likely to continue throughout the afternoon and reach eastern parts of the state.
