Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The Upper Condamine River Issued at 01:16 PM AEST on Sunday 25 October 2026 Flood Warning Number: 5 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT PRATTEN SUNDAY EVENING, AND TUMMAVILLE AND CECIL PLAINS FROM LATE MONDAY Heavy rainfall and river level rises have been recorded across the Upper Condamine River and its tributaries over the last few days. With forecast rainfall, further river level rises and minor flooding is possible at Pratten from Sunday evening, and at Tummaville and Cecil Plains from late Monday. Condamine River to Warwick: River levels are mostly easing along the Upper Condamine River to Warwick. Condamine River downstream of Warwick to Oakey Creek: Minor flooding is possible along the Condamine River downstream of Warwick to Oakey Creek. No observations are currently available for the Condamine River at Pratten. Based on observations from a nearby manual gauge, the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (5.50 m). The Condamine River at Pratten may reach around the minor flood level (5.50 m) Sunday evening. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. The Condamine River at Tummaville is currently at 2.87 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Condamine River at Tummaville may exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) Monday evening. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. The Condamine River at Cecil Plains is currently at 4.78 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Condamine River at Cecil Plains may exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) Monday evening. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
