Dan vs Dani’s final verdict: Couple predict winners of The Block 2026 ahead of auction

The renovations are done, every room has been revealed and Dan and Dani are back to deliver their final verdict of Season 22 of The Block and answer the all-important question – who will win on Auction Day?

The couple returned to weigh in on their overall Champ and Chump of the season, and as per usual, they didn’t hold back.

Dani forced Dan to reveal his ‘Chump’ of the season first, and he was quick to name House 5.

“It’s just a house I don’t really connect with whatsoever, I think I’ve given them the most Chump’s this season, and it’s probably the last house I would buy.”

Dani agreed and admitted House 5 was the same for her too, for a lot of the same reasons.

“Strategically, I just wouldn’t be buying that house,” she said.

When it came to the house they thought was the Champ of the season, they were both on the same page again.

Dani went first and revealed House 4 was her choice.

“A lot of spaces in there are really, really well put together. Overall it’s going to connect with a lot of buyers,” she said.

But when it came to which team they thought would win The Block for 2026, Dan’s bold prediction left Dani absolutely stunned.

“What?” she exclaimed when he revealed his top choice for Auction Day success.

Needless to say, she did not agree, and you can see their full predictions for who will win in the video at the top of this article.
