‘I hate him’: Islander besties uncover ‘man child’ scheming after shocking first Firepit

The first Firepit of Love Island Australia brought the heat, the twists and yep, the tears!

After initially choosing to get to know Jack and Lachie, bombshell Ava threw a real spanner in the works as she chose Keanu to couple up with – how good! Unless you’re Amanda.

Being single in the Love Island Villa is a very dangerous position to be in and Sophie Monk warned she had 24 hours to turn a head, or she’d be turning straight back out the door.

But Amanda had put all her eggs in Keanu’s basket, leaving her with only one option to stay in the game: grafting. Lots of grafting.

After a pep talk with Villa bestie Phoebe, things finally looked up as Amanda flirted up a storm with Oli.

“This is very forward, I want to kiss you right now…” Oli said.

The only problem..? Oli has been getting to know Phoebe, yes, Amanda’s closest pal, and he’s going to continue doing that without letting her know about the kiss.

He’s also coupled up with Layla, who says he’s paid her no attention at all.

That’s quite the pickle!

Surely he is just a couple of open and honest chats away from sorting it all out, though?

“I don’t think I need to tell anyone I kissed Amanda,” he says. Oh.

The next morning, he stays true to his word and continues to get to know Phoebe (and her mouth).

“I would love to kiss you again,” he tells her, and things get pretty steamy!

This has Phoebe floating on air, although thankfully not planning their wedding already like Shawnee with Lachie.

That is until a bestie debrief things her crashing back down to earth, as Amanda finally spills the beans.

“Oh my God, I hate him. I actually hate him,” Phoebe reacts.

After comparing notes, the gals begin plotting his downfall.

“He may look like Tarzan but he’s just a man child,” Amanda says.

“I need a bomb. I need a bombshell,” Phoebe demands.

Tomorrow, TWO hot new bombs enter the Villa – you’re welcome ladies! – and the Love Island “power couples” take control, leading to our very first dumping.
