The Block’s Lisa and Rosco welcome baby number two - after giving birth in shower

The Block’s Lisa and Rosco have welcomed their second child, a beautiful baby boy!

The Season 22 stars, who are just days away from selling their Block house at Auction on Sunday, revealed their “crazy” birth story and their little tot’s adorable name.

Their second son, Jude Ross was born on October 23, and weighed in at 3.33 kilograms.

The couple confirmed the news on Wednesday to New Idea.

Speaking to the publication, Lisa, 34, revealed little Jude was seven days past his due date. So, she drove herself to the hospital with no signs of labour until she got out of the car.

Ross, 38, was 40 minutes away with first son Lando, two. As the pair were on their way to the hospital, Lisa took a shower and the cramping “intensified”.

Lisa told the outlet she was in “shock and denial” because she thought she still had time to get to the delivery suite. According to her midwife, there was no time.

After an intense two-hour labour, the Block star gave birth while kneeling in the shower cubicle in the hospital.

They revealed to the outlet that by the time Rosco got to the hospital, he got a massive surprise – baby Jude had arrived.

Lisa confirmed baby Jude will appear at The Block Auction airing Sunday, November 1, alongside his parents and older brother.

Speaking to nine.com.au ahead of Jude’s arrival, Lisa said it was a “beautiful blessing” to have a second baby on the way, on top of achieving their dream of being on The Block.

“There’s something special about being pregnant the first time,” she said. “But the second time we get to experience with Lando.

“Watching him understand he’s going to be a brother is also really special.”

The parents revealed they “weren’t planning” on having a second child so soon.

“We were sort of hoping like later this year,” Lisa said at the time. “I had only just gone back to work so we thought towards the end of this year maybe we’ll give it a crack.

“But low and behold, by the time we had that conversation we were pretty much pregnant without knowing,” she smiled.

“We’re just very blessed that we were able to have a child and conceive a child naturally,” she went on. “There’s a lot of times where it doesn’t happen like that.”

“So we’re just really holding on to all our blessings at the moment.”

The stars agree that Lando and Jude will be their little mascots come Auction Day.
