The history-making $500k bonus prize Block team will receive if they win at auction

The Block teams of 2026 are just days away from their homes going under the hammer at auction.
But the winner of Season 22 will be walking away with a lot more than just the $100,000 bonus money (and any money they make above reserve), thanks to an eye-watering new prize that’s never been seen on the show.
A prize never before seen on The Block’s history is up for grabs for the winning team on Auction Day, valued at over $500,000. Nine
This year, host Scott Cam introduced what he dubbed “Scotty’s Prize Pool” during the Week 3 judging.
“Good evening everybody, have you noticed – and I’m very excited about this – my new addition to HQ?” he asked the teams.
They all turned around to see a Plungie Pool planted behind them, and that’s when Scotty let them in on his insane prize for this year’s winner.
“One of you is going to be taking that home, and I don’t mean home to your Block house, I mean home to your home,” he explained.
“The winner of The Block this year will not only take home their profit, and the $100,000, they will also get to take home what I call ‘Scotty’s Prize Pool’ with everything in it.
“Now, at the moment there is nothing in it, but believe you me, over the coming weeks I am gonna fill that Plungie with goodies.”
Scotty then revealed the next prize that was going into the pool – $50,000 in cold hard cash.
Scotty Cam told the teams that the $50,000 in cold hard cash in his hands was only the start of the prizes. Nine
And as the weeks went on, the prizes thrown into that Plungie only got better.
One of the next additions was two e-bikes from Ampd Bros.
Scotty ramped things up when he threw in a Bar Crusher 535XS boat in shockwave blue, valued at $80,000.
That addition alone bumped the total value up to over $250k – and he wasn’t anywhere near finished.
Next came the Speediance Gym Monster 2 and an Elsewhere pod, so the winning team will have a space to set up their gym at home in their backyard.
Scotty continued to amp things up over the next few weeks, with the addition of a 100-inch TV & surround sound package, a $50k art package, $50k kitchen from Kinsmen, $10k of flooring from FlooringXtra, $10k of wine from Levantine Hill and one-year of snacks supply from Arnott’s.
Then a Rolex watch, valued at $15k was added to the pool.
If that wasn’t enough to get the teams fighting for a win on Auction Day, in one of the final weeks Scotty threw in a car from Chery, the Tiggo9 Super Hybrid, valued at $60,000 for one team to take home.
The final prize thrown into the pool was a trip to what Scotty referred to as the “fanciest caravan park in Australia” the Trentham Waters Resort, staying in a Titanium caravan, and to make the holiday that bit more special, Titanium threw in $20,000 in cash.
“That takes the grand total of Scotty’s Prize Pool to $500,000 on the nose,” he told the teams at the final judging of the season.
