Ricky and Haydn's Guest Bedroom

House 3's Ricky and Haydn described this week as "just as crazy as the last".
They decided to do their Guest Bedroom as one suitable for kids, designing a cool, vibrant space complete with bunk beds and a flat-screen TV.

The room's hero feature was a huge map of the world emblazoned across fitted wardrobes, featuring painted animals from the different countries throughout.
However, during the week Foreman Dan revealed he didn't believe some aspects of the room reflected the boys' best work, slamming paintwork and scratches on the walls as "below standard".
The duo were convinced they couldn't bag a win this week, but did the judges agree?
Scroll through to see what judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox thought of House 3's guest bedroom.
After spending quite a lot of cash on their Guest Bathroom, the team spent a modest $8,240 on their space this week – with the Commbank Smart Board recommending a $12,000 budget.
Saving those pennies!
Marty was pleasantly surprised when he walked in, as he was hoping that bunk beds would be present in at least one of the teams' spaces.
"But are they in the right spot?" he asked.
We'll come back to that soon...
Shaynna was immediately drawn to the wardrobe and the "awesome" Grafico globe print.
"That's hot. I'm loving that," she said.
Marty agreed, and said he'd love for his children to have something similar in their rooms.
"That is so smart for the kids," he gushed.
Darren said it felt like an "approproate" kids room – but he did comment that the TV was a little too high.
"It's a nice thought," he applauded.
Marty, however, was still worried about the orientation of the bunk beds.
He said would have placed the bunk beds where the TV currently sits, claiming the current layout is "claustrophobic" and hard to photograph.
It looks like a pretty good photo to us Marty, but we catch your drift.
"If you look at the floor space, this is a room that's about four metres by three-and-a-half, but yet we're sort of in a really tight space here," he explained.
But as it turns out, that was the least of their problems.
Marty was quick to notice various craftmanship issues within the room.
"The painting of the ceiling is really rough," he said.
Darren chimed in: "It's more than the painting. Have a quick look over there, at that plaster..."
Darren's eyes were drawn to this spot in particular.
We were hoping they might not notice!
There was also a lot of chatter about the overall layout, and if it was completely wrong.
"When you walk in the room, you feel off-centre about where you should go because you're hitting a bunk when you're walking in," Shaynna gave her view.
"You're hitting a bean bag, the door doesn't close, the plastering is an issue...
"This feels like a retro fit of a Phillip Island home," she concluded.
Another issue? The carpet.
"We're walking distance from the beach, and you're going to be dragging sand the whole time," Shaynna continued.
"This has been an easier week... I was expecting more from them."
