Courtney and Grant's Backyard and Pool

As a landscape business development manager, Grant was well and truly in his comfort zone come Backyard and Pool Week.
But that's not to say it didn't come with its fair share of challenges.
The weather was "wet and wild" which certainly wasn't ideal for trying to complete an outdoor space.

Then there was the debacle over the pouring of Courtney and Grant's concrete arched bench.
Everyone on-site told the pair they didn't have enough time left in the day to pour it and for it to set, but they had no choice but to take the risk. It paid off in the end and House 2 had the last laugh.
But would they continue laughing all the way to the bank by taking out the top prize this week? Time will tell.
Scroll through to see what judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer, Marty Fox and guest judge and landscaper Dave Franklin thought of House 2's backyard and pool.
While Courtney and Grant were always a strong team, Grant admitted with landscaping being his area of expertise he was feeling the pressure to succeed this week.
"I've always loved landscaping. I've worked in landscaping for the last few years and I did it a lot when I was younger as well. I've always enjoyed being out in the garden," he said.
Would being in his element all week pay off for Grant?

With Grant covering the landscape design, Courtney was in charge of the styling and she was on a mission to make the inside of the house tie to the outside.
You guessed it, the theme was still 'Moderterranean'.
"We've still got a lot of the curves and the stone," she said.
Like we mentioned earlier, Courtney and Grant's backyard has five separate entertaining areas – a fire pit, a dining table, lounge seating on the main deck, lounge seating on the pool deck and then an intimate seating area outside the master bedroom.
There's also a plunge pool to complete the package!
It was drizzling rain when the judges walked into House 2's backyard but that took away none of the impact.
The judges thought they were impressed by House 1 but after taking once glance at House 2's yard, they knew it would be a serious contender.
The first thing Darren noticed was what he dubbed "the barbecue of dreams".
And plenty of room for entertaining, ideal for a holiday home.
Upon opening the outdoor kitchen drawers, Shaynna noticed Courtney and Grant had even gone to the effort of styling them.
"That is phenomenal," she gleamed.
As a landscaper himself, Dave couldn't help but appreciate the olive trees, lemon trees and even bay leaf trees in the garden.
"Everything that you need to cook for the barbecue is right in the garden," he said.
As always, realtor Marty was thinking about the marketing and he was adamant this outdoor space would be "the hook" for House 2's campaign.
