Watch: Scott Cam sends a special message to fans and teases what to expect in the new season of The Block 2024

EXCLUSIVE: It's not just the weather that is warming up for the new season of The Block, host Scott Cam is ready to welcome five eager teams to Phillip Island.

Ahead of the premiere of Block Island on Monday August 12 at 7:30pm, Scotty had a special message for fans.

"This year on The Block, our 20th Season, it's on Phillip Island and it's going to be absolutely amazing," Scotty began.

"There's so much to do on the island, there's surfing, fishing, penguins, seals – it's all happening."

"And The Block itself is incredible, it's resort-style living at its best and you're going to love it because our contestants this year are feisty, fantastic and they do great renos."

He also teased some huge "twists" in the new season, which you can watch in the clip.

Scotty is returning to to a milestone 20th Season of The Block where five new couples will be completely out of their depth as they transform a rundown holiday park into five luxury family holiday homes.

They will work tirelessly over 12 weeks in the hopes of making life changing money come Auction Day.
