Each year, The Block delivers us some much-needed design inspo.
And no one is as inspired as the contestants – in fact, it appears near impossible to walk away from The Block without the design bug.

With plenty of hours on the tools under their belts, some of our favourite couples head back home with huge reno plans.
From starting businesses to fixing doer uppers, and of course many dream house builds, there is plenty to keep them busy.
And the best part is that most of them also document their hard work (and stunning results) for all of us to see.

Luke and Jasmin
It's been a tough few months for Season 16's Luke and Jasmin Neuwen after Jasmin revealed she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer.
While Jasmin is currently recovering from surgery, the pair haven't rested their love for renovations.
Jasmin and Luke took to Instagram to share their very own Room Reveal!
The couple unveiled the results of a refurbishment of a multipurpose room.

Luke and Jasmin needed a space in their home that could service a number of different needs for the family.
So they build an extension onto their carport for $35,000.
"We are now a 4x2metres and this space is our multipurpose room and ensuite. The room is essentially the kids playroom, a third living space and a guest room," they wrote.
"Because it's a playroom we wanted it to be bright and fun."
Luke and Jasmin achieved that by commissioning an original piece by Poppy Key.
"The pink, green and travertine colour palette is fun and calming at the same time," they continued.
We have to agree we love the colour combo and it certainly brings the space to life.
Fans also loved the sliding barn door and it turns out Luke built it himself!

Fans were equally as impressed with the transformation.
"It looks so good!!! Love it 😍," one wrote.
While another said, "Epic finish guys 🙌."

OK, she may not be a contestant but Shelley Craft is certainly part of The Block family!
And when she's not lifting spirits and sharing helpful advice to this year's teams, the star host is chipping away at her own renovation projects.

Here's the backyard and pool area before renovations.
The house itself is far from finished as you can tell by the façade, but with a hint of white panelling you can certainly see Shelley's vision!
What you can also see – red cement, an old pool fence and thick pool coping.
"Alrighty, you've been asking to see the 'before and after' magic of this reno, so buckle up for some transformation goodness!" Shelley captioned the photos.

"Where we are now!" Shelley added.
Swap red cement for gorgeous white tiles, plus a sleek glass fence and vibrant palms making a splash against the cool white and turquoise backdrop.
"Here's a little sneak peek at the pool – back when it resembled a "work in progress", and today, where it finally resembles something you'd actually want to swim in," she continued.
Shelley then added another close-up snap.

Friends and fans couldn't get enough of the transformation.
Block winner Oz gave Shelley a big hands up: "🙌❤️," while one follower commented: "WOW, absolutely stunning 😍."
"Unbelievable. 👏," said another fan, with a third called it: "Shelley's block 🙌🙌🙌."
To which Shelley replied: "Feels like it haha xx."
Tess and Luke
Tess and Luke Struber made themselves household names when they won the 2019 season of the hit renovation show.
Five years has passed and in that time they've been busy raising two kids, Cleo and Mack, and are still avid renovators.
Most recently the revealed the results of their stunning main bathroom reno.
They started with a completely blank canvas but it's now "one of [their] favourite rooms in the house".

Talk about understated elegance!
Opting for a neutral palette and interesting curves, Tess and Luke made a statement without making too many bold choices.
"This is one of my favourite bathrooms that I've ever created," Tess wrote.
She explained just how the subtle style choices you make can have a big impact.
"There's a "mood" about it. We didn't have to go loud with the colours, the textures do the talking.
"The tiles, the basin, the tapware - all classic & timeless with our own edge to it.
"Bathrooms are my favourite rooms to create! They are so important in your home and can be often thrown together when in actual fact - everyone sees your bathroom!"
Fans were loving the space just as much as Tess and Luke.
"Everything is stunning and works so well together. I especially love the basins," one wrote.
While another simply commented, "Incredible 😍👏."
