The big day is finally here!
Welcome to our live coverage of Auction Day on The Block 2026, where the five Mount Eliza homes will finally go under the hammer.
We'll be covering every moment as it happens, as well as give behind-the-scenes moments from the contestants and judges and unseen reactions you won't get anywhere else.
The Block officially kicks off at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now – so there’s not long to go until we find out what happens!
Please note: This live blog covers events as they happen and may contain spoilers for viewers in WA, SA, NT and QLD.
We asked, you answered: Who will win The Block 2026?
All week, we’ve asked you to vote who you think will win The Block at tonight’s auction. Thousands responded, and now, the results are in.
With a landslide 56% of the vote, the majority believe Adam and Jolene in House 1 will be crowned the winner at the end of tonight’s show.
Courtney and Sev are up next with 20%, while Rick and Tayla came out third with 12%.
Lisa and Rosco received 8% of the vote, while Chantel and Wyatt – who didn’t win a Room Reveal all season – came last with just 5% of voters thinking they’ll win.
But at Auction Day, you never know what’ll happen... so make sure you tune in to see who takes the crown!

‘We’ve got a new Lambo guy!’
With just hours until the first Block home goes under the hammer, Scott and Shelley are sussing out just who is attending the auction.
They’ve perused the street and notice the street is dotted with Ferraris and Lamborghinis, and they are hoping it’s a sign of cashed-up buyers. “Fingers crossed they are ready to bid!” Shelley hopes.
A new Lambo guy, you say Scotty? Nine
Well well well, if it isn’t Danny Wallis! The Block 2026 auction day live blog Danny Wallis
The duo spot seasoned Block buyer Danny Wallis (who most will recall as the man who makes erratic bids down to the exact cent).
“It looks like we’ve got a new Lambo guy!” Scotty remarks, strolling past a bright purple sports car.
Last we heard, Adrian Portelli had a yellow Lambo, said he was never returning to The Block and had moved to Dubai ... so who is this mystery stranger?
The Blockheads are here!
Our Blockheads are here and looking ready for a night of nerves, tears, screams, and hopefully thousands of dollars in the bank.
Just look at those outfits – not a high-vis in sight! It’s quite unnerving, actually.

Scotty and Shelley are spotted at auction
You know it’s nearly time for auction when Scotty and Shelley are spotted in their glad rags, ready and raring to go.
Shelley is a vision in blue, and Scotty is rocking a green velvet blazer (which we swear we’ve seen at a previous auction – it must be lucky – and my goodness, don’t they scrub up well.
We’ll get to see our first look at the teams very soon.

Lisa fronts up to auction one week after giving birth
We’ve got a little sneak peek of tonight’s episode – and yes, Lisa and Rosco have welcomed their second son, baby Jude Ross Wilson, and are bringing him to The Block auction just a week after giving birth!
We’re sure Scott Cam is spewing they haven’t named him Scott Junior.
Welcome to The Block baby Jude! Here’s hoping mum and dad make a lot of money! Nine
“I think I just found the calmest person on The Block with no idea what’s been going on for the last nine months,” Block godmother Shelley Craft says.
Lisa already feels like she’s won the lottery with baby Jude, but we bet a big win tonight would still be nice!
Scotty’s wild update hour before the hammer falls
We managed to grab Scotty amid the chaos of Auction Day, and he revealed it’s House 4 – Courtney and Sev – who have the most registered bidders ahead of the homes going under the hammer.
Scotty deliving the goss. Nine
Potential buyers must register their intentions with the listing agents beforehand before bidding, and Scotty thinks it's the duo's secret weapon - their mammoth wine cellar - that's sparked a lot of interest.
"[The wine cellar] might be a very important factor in that," he says.
Cheers, Scotty!

Dan and Dani choose their winners, and it will shock you
Ahh, Dan and Dani. The beloved Block legends themselves have been giving us their brutal opinions all season, but when it came to choosing a winner, Dan made a call that left his wife – and franky, us a little bit – gobsmacked.
They also chose their chumps of the season, and oh... it’s just so good, you have to see it.
Do you agree with them? Are they way off? Only time will tell.
What are the reserve prices of the five homes?
Things are a little bit different on The Block this year, as we already know the reserve prices of all five of the homes following a new legislation in Victoria.
This means potential buyers who are considering registering to attend the auctions have a clear idea of what price point these houses are set to sell for.
Shelley Craft revealed the news on Today, confirming EVERY house would have the SAME reserve of $3.45 million, with a sale guideline of $3.6 million to $3.9 million.
Queen Shelley spilled the beans on Today a few weeks earlier. Nine
That is, apart from Rick and Tayla in House 5, who won Week 12 and the prize of $50,000 knocked off their reserve.
Many houses had drastically different reserves based on size in years prior, so hopefully the Blockheads are chuffed with this – then again, probably not.
We’ll find out their reaction later... and, of course, the all-important AUCTION ORDER!
Scotty speaks out ahead of auction
Scotty has spoken out ahead of tonight’s Auction day extraganza. Nine
Our fearless Block leader Scotty Cam lives and breathes Auction Day, and he spoke this morning live on-site from Mount Eliza.
He said the Blockheads were “absolutely” nervous about their homes going under the hammer, given the unprecedented new reserve price laws in Victoria, and the dire clearance rates.
“With the way the market is in Victoria, 50 per cent clearance rates in the last couple of weeks, the new laws that have come out where you’ve got to reveal the reserve price – which no one really knows how that’s going to affect an auction, the vendor or the buyer,” he said on Today.
He promised it’s gonna be a rollercoaster of an evening. And oh, we bet it is.
