Kylie and Brad labelled Living and Dining Week "testing", but by the end they had created a luxe space in their signature moody style.
Everyone was racing against the clock when the Gyprock delivery was delayed by a truck breakdown, but no one was more concerned than these two in House 4!

This week, they had the largest space of any house at 75 square metres – bigger than the average 2-bedroom apartment! – so yes, they needed a lot of plasterboard.
It all came together in the end, with Kylie and Brad delivering an enormous black and green room.

There was a lot to learn this week, as the couple from Tropical North Queensland had to try figure out a fire place!
They also had a secret weapon in custom furniture from Christian Cole.
"I think a 10 will be a very good stretch," Brad said. "Hopefully we can win."
Big spaces need big money, and Kylie and Brad spent a whopping $50,235 here.
It was definitely worth the price tag, as from the moment Shaynna entered the room and did something she'd never done before: she started singing!

"It's unbelievable, this room sings!" she exclaimed.
"It does feel like an opera house in there, doesn't it?" Scotty replied back at HQ.
"It's a lot of space, mate!" Brad agreed.
Darren pointed out that at 75sqm, the room could fit a two or even three-bedroom apartment.
Then Marty noticed something he had to show Darren...
"Darren, look, there's not a single down light in sight," he said.
Darren let out a "yesssss" in response.
"This is actually the lighting layout that I've been hoping to see all day."
He liked every single choice, from the wall sconces to the strip lighting to the interesting choice of pendant.

"How interesting, it just adds this different dimension to the room," Marty said.
Kylie and Brad installed a large black fan, which the judges loved.
"That fan? I'm a fan," Darren said.
"Big arse baby, that's a big arse fan!" Shaynna laughed.
The living and dining was open plan with their winning kitchen, and Shaynna loved the spaces together:
"It just works perfectly with that kitchen!" she gushed.
She had been very critical of Kylie and Brad's style early in the season, but no more!
"Each angle you look at, you've got a beautiful, beautiful vignette," she gushed.
