“In 2023 we met beautiful Lori and her incredible family. It’s been an honour to stay in touch and spend more time together over the years,” the sisters shared to their Instagram on Thursday.

Lori Perry, daughter of Caylee and Simon Perry, and big sister to three, passed away on October 25. A funeral service is being held on Friday November 6 in Victoria.

Perry was first diagnosed with a Wilms tumour, a type of kidney cancer, at age three. After “a long difficult fight”, she was then cancer free, according to her GoFundMe page. Eight years later she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time.

“We were devastated to learn of Lori’s passing after an ongoing battle with cancer,” Eliza and Liberty went on.

“Lori’s bravery, strength, kindness and light will continue to inspire us, and we’ll forever treasure the keyrings we made with her when we visited her in hospital recently.”

Block stars and friends shared their condolences in the comments section, with Alisa and Lysandra writing: “Absolutely heartbreaking, send much love to her family.”

“Life is incredibly cruel. Much love to Lori’s family 😔,” wrote Season 9 stars Michael and Carlene.
