Everything The Block 2026 stars have shared since auction

It’s been just days since The Block 2026 ended with a very successful Auction Day, and we’ve already had some big updates from the Blockheads.
As all five teams walked away with life-changing cash, there has been plenty to celebrate this week.

From Courtney and Sev’s first reaction to becoming instant millionaires to a look at the auction moment that didn’t make it to TV, here’s how all the cast have been soaking in the incredible results.
Rick and Tayla
In true Tayla fashion, she’s been go, go, go since her and her dad Rick won an incredible $905,000 at auction.
From a day out on the water to being reunited with Courtney and Sev at Oaks Day, it’s been a busy week for the father-and-daughter duo.
But perhaps the best update came from their real estate agent, Ash Marton, who shared the way House 5’s auction ended that didn’t make it to TV.

It was a promise to buyer’s advocate Andrew Date, who made the winning bid on behalf of House 5’s buyers.
So, obviously, they had to pay up – fancy auction day clothes and all!
Chaotic, sure, but a fitting end to the House 5 journey.

Tayla also posted a sweet Instagram carousel with some of her favourite Block people, including Shelley Craft, Scott Cam and 2018 All Star Spence Thomson, who helped out when Rick was out of action with an injured knee.
“I love us all and so grateful for these amazing humans plus WAY more,” she said.

Auctioneer Ryan King
There is no doubt House 5’s fresh-faced auctioneer (whom Scotty accused of being 12 years old!) was one of the auction’s biggest stars.
How does he feel about it all?
“Somewhere out there, Peter Piper is still picking ...” the 22-year-old joked on Instagram, referencing his hilarious clapback to Block royalty Danny Wallis during the auction.
“Soaking up all this goodness. Ever grateful to even be a part of this.”

Courtney and Sev
The besties walked away with $1.37 million in cash, plus an extra $500,000 worth of prizes thanks to Scotty’s prize pool, making them the biggest winners in Block history.
They celebrated that win with a fun-filled week, including a day out for Oaks Day.

On November 6, Sev shared a post reflecting on their journey, saying that the outcome “still hasn’t quite sunk in”.
“Sharing this experience with @courtneykain91 and winning The Block together was never on our bingo card!” she wrote on Instagram.
“To our entire team, thank you for believing in us and pouring your time, talent and heart into House 4.”
Sev also said she and Courtney had spent time with their buyers.
“To our new homeowners, you have changed our lives. We’ve loved spending these past few evenings together and feel this is the beginning of a lifelong friendship,” she said.

Sev had a long list of thank-yous, including to her husband, friends and family, The Block and her fellow Blockheads.
“It was a five-horse race, and holy smokes, seeing every team walk away with such incredible results made it even more special,” she said.
She concluded that she was “forever grateful”.
Scott Cam
Unsurprisingly, Scotty was riding a massive high after the auction, so much so he was singing the result’s praises when nine.com.au caught up with him on Melbourne Cup day!

“The auction was a highlight; it reset us again,” Scotty said.
“We proved we’re a strong entity, even though the Victorian market is so weak. We got through that, and we did a great job.”
The judges – Darren, Palmer, Marty Fox and Shaynna Blaze
The judging trio were out and about for the Melbourne Cup Carnival this week, soaking up all the positivity of the events and a successful auction.
Plus, Darren had a birthday! What a week.
“Happy bday to this guy who somehow ages backwards @darrenpalmerofficial,” Marty shared alongside a photo of the judges look swish at Darby Day.
“Another fun day in the books with Shaz n Daz.”
Shaynna later reflected on the result – which was in line with the judging results too as Courtney and Sev won the most rooms.
“Courtney and Sev showed us design ingenuity and quality the whole way through and it paid off for them (literally),” she said.
“To all the other contestants, so proud of you all winning life-changing prizes to set you up for the next chapter in your lives. This was a tough environment to build in and sell in, and the results are more than we all expected.”
This season has just ended, up Shaynna said, “We are all pumped for 2027 already”.
