Watch: Grant brands winning room 'dog ugly' in bitter outburst during Open for Inspections

If there's ever a time to be brutally honest, it's during the weekly Open for Inspections.

But as the Blockheads checked out their rivals' main bedrooms and walk-in robes, Grant may have been a little too honest as he branded one room "dog ugly".

Grant was initially called out by producers for saying the room "sucked" but he denied ever saying such a thing.

"I will admit when I've said something and I did not say that it sucked," Grant stood firm.

He said he was happy for producer to "roll the tape"...and so they did.

"Well that's a f--king joke," Grant vented after his and Courtney's room lost out on the solo win.

"That's a crock of s--t. I will say it, I don't care. I will say it in front of camera too.

"Even without the painting finished that's a dog ugly room."

The teams also had a lot to say after seeing Maddy and Charlotte's work for the very first time.

The Block airs Sunday at 7:00pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
