Foreman Dan brands Kristian's work 'a dog's breakfast' as the Blockhead makes a string of mistakes on The Block 2024

Kristian is already in hot water after he forged Foreman Dan's signature on last night's episode of The Block.

But it seemed he hadn't learned his lesson as he continued to push the limits by cutting corners during Guest Bedroom Week.

While Kristian thought the time-saving measures would help, the shortcuts kept backfiring on the electrician and wife Mimi wasn't impressed.

EPISODE 6 RECAP: Kristian's shortcuts come back to bite him and one contestant threatens to quit

The first hiccup of the day occurred when Kristian failed to forward plan for the plumbing of the upstairs bathroom.

It meant that Kinsman, who were installing wardrobes that day, couldn't fit in the cabinets due to an overhead pipe.

"What's stressing me out the most is that we're not going to finish this room," Kristian worried.

Things then went from bad to worse when Kristian forgot to lag the pipe and only realised once Kinsman had installed the wardrobes.

"Unfortunately due to my error he had to remove the last cabinet so that I could remove the pipe," a nervous Kristian explained alongside Mimi.

As luck would have it, when Kristian eventually got around to lagging the pipe, Foreman Dan pointed out that he was doing it with the wrong tape.

"How the f--k am I supposed to know that you need a special tape for this lagging?" Kristian huffed.

Kristian just couldn't catch a break when he was later caught out ripping insulation and shoving it in the roof rather than placing them in the correct sizes.

"Another silly decision made," Kristian reflected.

Silly indeed. All it meant was that Kristian's work wasn't to code and needed to be redone.

Even after a second attempt at insulating, Foreman Dan called Kristian's work a "dog's breakfast" and said it was still not compliant with standards.

"I've learned, it's only week two it won't happen again for the rest of the show," Kristian promised.

Only time will tell if he will keep that promise.

The Block airs Sunday at 7:00pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
