In our exclusive clip, Kristian explains what went through his mind when he forged Foreman Dan and a Nine in Six Builders representative's signature for a demo permit – and quickly got caught.

Foreman Dan was horrified by the entire debacle, as was Kristian's wife Mimi who had no idea it had taken place.

"The whole forging thing..." Kristian explained. "We were there, we'd just had our first win.

"In my mind, it's like – I had my builder ring me saying, 'Kristian we need to fill in this demo permit otherwise we're not going to be able to demo and we're going to get stuck behind.'"

When it came to the end of the form, Kristian decided to forge the signatures to speed the process along. "I don't know why... I was stuck in a dead end," he said.

Dan said that he'd never seen anyone do that in his 11 seasons of The Block.

"There's no excuses. You don't do that," Dan told him.

During the interview, Mimi was clearly annoyed that Kristian had done it without her knowledge and wasn't afraid to scold her partner for what he'd done.
