'Horrific': Dan and Dani give scathing reviews of teams' guest bathrooms - as one 'polarising' room is dubbed 'least favourite ever'

EXCLUSIVE: Grab your popcorn, as Dan vs Dani is officially back in business for The Block's 20th Season – and boy, do they have a lot to say about Guest Bathroom Week.

Each week, Block royalty Dan Reilly and Dani Wales are giving their honest views of our teams' rooms and it's fair to say they never hold back.

So what did they think of our Blockheads' first spaces of the season?

As they roamed through the Phillip Island villas for the very first time, it was Kylie and Brad's all-black bathroom in House 4 that caused the duo to absolutely erupt.

A black toilet, black toilet paper, black walls... it was Dani's worst nightmare.

"This is probably my least favourite room I've ever seen on The Block. EVER in the time that we've been doing this." she said. This is not the time to be experimenting design choices that are so polarising."

But Dan remained positive, and went as far as to say he quite liked some aspects of the room.

"I feel like I don't even know who you are anymore. You love this room? You LIKE this room? That's bad enough! I'm actually quite speechless," Dani replied.

They're baaaaack!

Over in Jesse and Paige's unfinished room in House 1, Dani was quick to praise the "stunning" colour scheme of the tiles – but she did have a few things to say about everything else.

Meanwhile, Ricky and Haydn's House 2 didn't receive rave reviews from Dan.

"This is vomit for me. There's not one thing I like in here," he said, with the couple agreeing that the colour scheme was pretty off – just like the judges had said.

Dani was more complimentary, but did say: "This huge industrial shower screen is horrific! I actually like the motion of the sliding screen, but that is so heavy and dominant in the space."

They also had a LOT to say about Kristian and Mimi's winning room in House 5 – but you'll have to check that out by watching the video above.
