Guest Suite Week has pushed our Blockheads to breaking point, and quick, there’s been an explosion on site.

A “poo explosion” in Chantel and Wyatt’s unfinished bathroom after receiving the wrong tint of paint. But that’s nothing compared to the explosive drama coming.

This is the pastels that we wanted ... and this is what we got. :(  Nine

“It’s literally like diarrhoea on the wall,” Chantel laughs.

Over in House 1, Adam and Jolene have experienced their own blow out – their budget, and it’s as messy as you’d expect.

Despite taking out last week’s win, the team have overspent by a mammoth $20,000. With a $30,000 budget this week, panic sinks in.

They make the “gut-wrenching” decision to let some of their tradies go, they simply can’t afford them.

Jolene gets emotional as she hugs them goodbye. If only a well-timed challenge could help them win some cash!

Host Scott Cam arrives with an $80,000 Bar Crusher boat and a special guest, Tayla’s twin sister Shannen.

“There’s two of them?!” reacts Spence.  Nine

She’s here to help Tayla with this week’s cooking challenge.

Teams have just one hour to clean, cook and serve a meal using mouth-watering local mussels. The winners will take home $10,000 cash, the sneaky Bonus Point Gnome, and a Speediance gym station to go in their home.

Adam and Jolene have never seen a mussel before in their lives, and they do surprisingly well for a couple of Aussie farmers...

But mid-challenge, Courtney and Sev get a heart-sinking phone call from their tiler. It’s bad news.

Back on site, Site Manager GMac is not happy with the standard of House 4’s tiles.

The grout gaps are far too inconsistent and wide, and he’s ordered their tiler to rip them off and start again, this time with a staggered design.

Excuuuuuuse meeeee?! Nine

“This is a design call Nine in Six have made without consulting us,” Courtney fumes. “I’m angry, I’m pissed.”

The girls also don’t see the problem because they missed the memo about the grout gap and their original layout is exactly what they’ve done in their last two bathroom designs.

They’re also horrified by the idea their grout lines will now line up with their mixer and toilet button.

Yuck. Nine

This, on top of the five hours and thousands of dollars this fix will cost. Help.

The girls want clarity, and so confront Site Managers GMac and Aiden in a very official meeting.

But remember, Courtney also works full time as a site manager. This could get interesting…

Aiden confirms the tile gaps were the problem, not the design.

“It would have been too late by the time you got back for us to get the tiles off the wall had it come to that,” GMac explains. “At the end of the day, a decision had to be made.”

In a shock twist, Aiden offers to foot the bill for their tiler’s hours yesterday and that definitely stakes the sting away.

And what’s this?! Sev and GMac hugging it out at McCafé?

Who is this and what have you done with GMac?  Nine
