Leave or stay? All the biggest Commitment Ceremony bombshells on MAFS 2025

Thirteen couples met and tied the knot on Married At First Sight Season 12.
And at the Reunion Commitment Ceremony, they faced the experts for the very last time.
Having met with experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla every week, they knew to expect hard truths, curly questions and hopefully also some words of encouragement.

While usually the brides and grooms are choosing to 'leave' or 'stay', the Reunion is an opportunity for them to take a trip down memory lane, watch back and reflect as their journey is played in front of their very eyes.
Sounds fun... and potentially very awkward!
Scroll through for the biggest and crucial moments from the 2025 Commitment Ceremonies...
Jacqui and Ryan | Reunion Commitment Ceremony
After confirming their relationship at the Reunion Dinner Party the night before, Jacqui and Clint found themselves seated in the most awkward as possible spot – right next to her ex, Ryan!
Jacqui and Ryan later sat down in front of the experts, but before they reflected on their relationship Jacqui dropped a big bombshell.
"We're really happy and so now I'm moving in with Clint," she smiled.
Clint agreed that things were "very serious" between them, prompting Ryan to question the timeline of their relationship.

Mel said Ryan appeared very hurt by Jacqui's new relationship.
"If I have to be completely honest, it's not this specific situation. It's the culmination of this relationship," he replied, turning to his ex-wife.
"You made my life hell and my question is, with the mountain of evidence, actions, words, contradictions, the non-acceptance, did you ever really want to be in this relationship? Truly?" he asked.
"Yes," Jacqui replied.
But the night was also about their relationship that was, so they looked back at their very chaotic time together.

Including the wedding day drop.
The exes couldn't help but laugh about that ridiculous start of their marriage.
Other moments included Jacqui's 'rap sheet' for Ryan and their argument about it at Beth and Teejay's wedding.
The group laughed when footage showed Jacqui cry "there's nobody out there that meets my standards", as Clint sat watching on.
Awkward.
After their Final Vows, Jacqui said she believed she'd find her man sooner than she thought.
"Cause you already found him," Adrian reacted.

When all was said and done, the exes still could not see eye-to-eye about the demise of their relationship.
Jacqui said Ryan "never got up to scratch" and she didn't think they had any real communication at all.
Ryan disagreed, saying for him their happy moments were genuine.
"For me, I didn't have a voice and that's what made it work," Jacqui countered.
"A show?" Alessandra asked.
"It wasn't a show... it's what brave people do everyday," Jacqui replied.
Clint | Reunion Commitment Ceremony
Before letting Jacqui and Ryan off the couch, John wanted to get Clint's perspective on what he'd just watched.
"Watching the video was exactly what Jacqui described went on and I just cannot believe some of the behaviour that he's demonstrated to a female," Clint reacted.
Billy asked if it had brought up any "alarm bells" about Jacqui as well.
"Not at all. I've actually fallen more for her since I've just watched that," Clint said.
Despite their many, many ups and downs, Jacqui and Ryan felt like they'd learned a lot about themselves and relationships through the experiment.
Carina and Paul | Reunion Commitment Ceremony
The Reunion Dinner Party came with a surprise about-face from jilted Frenchman, Paul.
Carina broke up with him at Final Vows, and he now thought she only did it because she was worried about her public perception.
This claim did not sit well with experts nor the group.
"I've been so genuine throughout this whole experiment," Carina defended.
Carina and Paul | Reunion Commitment Ceremony
Both Carina and Paul watched on in horror as the many lows of their journey played out on screen.
Carina was emotional as she saw Paul's Final Task date and the fallout, which ultimately led to the demise of their entire relationship.
It was an uncomfortable watch but for her, but reaffirmed that she made the right choice.

Paul immediately claimed that Carina had also made mistakes in their relationship.
But John wasn't going to let that slide, delivering the groom some hard truths.
"Rolling your eyes, shrugging saying she's not compatible because of these reasons. Frankly, it just made me sick in the stomach," the expert said.
"This must be a wake-up call to you."

It wasn't easy to hear, but Paul acknowledged that he needed to improve how he operated in relationships going forward.
As for Carina, she learned to trust her gut more.
"I know I'm a bit more chill and laid back, and I tolerate more things than I should so I need to be more firm," she said.
