Experience

Mikala is a versatile journalist with a strong background in breaking news and crime reporting.

Mikala then got a three-month internship on the chief of staff desk at Network 10, before being offered a role as an Associate Producer at nine.com.au’s  News Team in 2021, during her final semester at University.

She is now one of two nine.com.au reporters on the team, covering everything from news, crime, red carpets, celebrity and lifestyle stories. She is also a part of the team’s small but mighty vertical video team, presenting stories on the Nine.com.au TikTok page.
