MAFS couple Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough announce pregnancy

Married at First Sight stars Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough are having a baby!

The couple, who met on the reality TV show in 2024 while both matched with different partners, revealed the news in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday.

In the clip, the couple walk into frame holding a sonogram, set to an emotional audio snippet from their final episode where they discussed their future with the late relationship expert, Mel Schilling.

“What would life look like?” Shilling asked in the video.

“The white picket fence,” Ellie replied, before Schilling continued: “Baby? Is that what you see?”

“I want to have a family and just the average Australian dream,” Ellie said.

The pair revealed that their dream is coming true, with their baby due in April 2027.

Dix and McCullough started dating after their respective marriages to other people on the reality TV show crumbled.

The pair grew close following the show’s end, debuting their relationship at the Reunion Dinner Party.

Friends, family and fellow MAFS cast mates took to the comments to congratulate the couple.

Jacqui Burfoot, who also found her now-husband Clint Rice on MAFS in a similar manner in 2025, wrote: “❤️❤️❤️congrats xxx”

Former MAFS contestant Tim Calwell also commented on the post, writing: “Congrats guys!!! Super excited for you both.”

“Best news ever,” another participant Eden Harper wrote.

Following the outpouring of love and support, Dix took to the comments to express the couple’s gratitude.

“We honestly didn’t expect so much love! 🥹🤍 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every message, comment and well wish,” she wrote.

“It means more than you know to have so many beautiful people sharing in our happiness. We’re so excited for what’s to come! 🍼✨.”

Dix and McCullough own a cosmetic treatment facility on the Gold Coast.
