Lachie Neale pictured with rumoured new girlfriend, less than a year after marriage breakdown

AFL player Lachie Neale is rumoured to have a new romance in his life, with a woman named Emma Field.

Neale, 33, and Field, 29, were pictured together arriving at Brisbane Airport after flying back from Melbourne. It comes seven months after the breakdown of his marriage to Jules Neale, 36.

The Brisbane Lions player and Field were all smiles as they walked through Brisbane Airport after Neale returned from a game the night before.

The pair seemed to be in high spirits, walking side-by-side with refreshments in one hand and bags in the other.

Neale and wife of seven years Jules split in December 2025 after Jules publicly claimed she had been “betrayed”.

It was alleged that the betrayal was an affair with Jules′ former best friend Tess Crosley, who was married to Neale’s best mate Ben Crosley.

Field is believed to be an advertising professional living in Queensland.

While neither she nor Neale have confirmed the nature of their relationship, they both follow one another on social media and Neale has like a number of Field’s recent posts.

Field has shared snippets of her social life on Instagram including several girls’ trips away, birthday dinners and beach days.

Though with reports that Neale and Field have been quietly dating for months, there could be a possible relocation for the pair to Melbourne.

Neale has been linked to a possible move to Collingwood at the end of the 2026 AFL season, although no decision has been announced.

Neale and Field’s rumoured romance comes as he continues to co-parent interstate with ex-wife Jules.

Jules relocated back to her hometown of Perth from Brisbane after the split and in late July shared she’d bought a new home there to mark the beginning of a new chapter.

Neale remains in Brisbane for now and has opened up about their co-parenting arrangement for children Piper, five, and Freddie, one.

“[It’s] obviously tough not having the kids here, but I’m pretty lucky that Jules, their mother, allows me to come and go from Perth,” he told The Age.

“I get Piper over here a fair bit … I am very fortunate that Jules has been very flexible with that, and I am able to go back to Perth with the club’s blessing whenever I want.

“If I have to miss a day of training or whatever they are happy for that to happen. I am managing that pretty well so far.”
