Jon Lovitz responds to scathing Playboy Mansion claims from Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal Harris
Comedian Jon Lovitz has hit back at claims by Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal Harris that he was “one of the biggest pervs” to visit the Playboy Mansion.
Harris, 40, labelled the actor, 69, as the mansion’s “number one customer” in an interview on the Lisa Guerrero Unleashed podcast.

“Any time someone says I’m number one, it’s a compliment,” the former Saturday Night Live star said in a video obtained by Page Six.
Lovitz refused to comment further, instead praising the late Playboy founder.
“Hugh Hefner was one of the nicest, most generous people I’ve ever met and all of his friends know it. That’s all I have to say about that,” he said.
During the podcast, Harris said Lovitz was a regular “lurker” at the mansion’s parties.
“His eyes would go front to back, all the women who walked through the door,” she claimed. “And at the parties, he’d be the lurker. I remember him every time, every party.”

She recalled a comment from Lovitz on social media in July, after she posted about her regret for marrying Hefner.
“I regret the version of myself that I had to abandon just to survive in that environment,” she said in the clip.
“I regret that it took me as long as it did to understand what was actually happening, like years. And I think a lot of people expected me to never say that out loud, to stay in the story that was written for me, the grateful young wife, the lucky girl.”

Lovitz, a long-time friend of Hefner, commented on that post.
“Do you regret the house he bought for you to live in, after his death? And keeping the money, after you sold it?” he wrote at the time. “And all the times your mother was at the mansion? And do you regret all he did for you? And do you regret leaving him and then coming back to marry him?”
Harris reacted to his comment, also pointing out that her followers quickly came to her defence.
“I’m like, ‘Jon Lovitz, you were Playboy Mansion’s number one customer. You’re like one of the biggest pervs there’. I’m like, ‘sit down’,” she told Guerrero.

Harris and Hefner met in 2008 and announced their engagement in 2010, but Harris got cold feet and left the mansion before walking down the aisle.
She eventually moved back in and married Hefner on New Year’s Eve in 2012, when she was 26 and he was 86.
They were married until his death in 2017.
