Lachie Neale shares update after ex-wife Jules reveals she’s moving

As Jules Neale revealed she is starting a fresh chapter after buying a new Perth home, ex Lachie Neale shared an update of his own.
The AFL player, 33, gave a glimpse into his life in Brisbane and co-parenting arrangement, months after his marriage with Jules, 36, broke down.

Among the collection of images shared, was a selfie of Lachie, and plenty of snaps of his and Jules’ children Piper, four, and Freddie, one, playing and enjoying time with their dad.
He captioned the post with a simple hand heart emoji.
Lachie has previously shared that co-parenting the children between states has been a difficult adjustment.
“[It’s] obviously tough not having the kids here, but I’m pretty lucky that Jules, their mother, allows me to come and go from Perth,” he told The Age.
“I get Piper over here a fair bit … I am very fortunate that Jules has been very flexible with that, and I am able to go back to Perth with the club’s blessing whenever I want.
“If I have to miss a day of training or whatever they are happy for that to happen. I am managing that pretty well so far.”
Lachie’s update came just hours after ex Jules celebrated buying a new home in Perth.
“This deserves a permanent spot in the feed 🥹❤️🔥 hello new home, I can’t wait to see what memories we create here x,” she posted alongside a couple of snaps of the place.

The hairdresser relocated back to Perth from Brisbane after her marriage to Neale broke down in December 2025 and this home marks a new period of her life.
Neale’s followers flooded the post with messages of support while others just celebrated this wonderful achievement.
“So ridiculously happy for you! The best is yet to come,” commented one follower.

“May your new home be filled with all the happiness that your last year robbed you of ❤️,” another wrote.
“This absolutely deserves a spot on the grid beautiful. The door to your new home for you and your babies to create so many memories. So much love Jules. You deserve all the happiness in the world and then some,” one replied.
The photos included one snap of a heritage style room with a gorgeous big ceiling rose, hardwood floors and a glass chandelier.

Last month Neale took another step forward in her new life, deciding to remove the L tattoo – for her ex – on her wrist.
Perth’s Bramis Facial Rejuvenation Clinics posted a short clip on Sunday evening of Jules smiling and laughing as she had the tattoo removed with a laser treatment.
“Getting rid of what no longer serves us… even if it was meant to be ‘permanent’,” the caption read.
“We’re helping @jules_neale say goodbye to the ink and hello to the next chapter.”
Jules commented on the video herself, writing, “You guys are the best ❤️🔥🥰🫶“.

The pair’s relationship broke down in December after she publicly claimed she had been “betrayed”, in light of rumours about the couple’s marriage.
Lachie then confirmed the separation while addressing the media in early January.
“I have let my family down, and I apologise for my actions, which have hurt those closest to me. For that, I am deeply sorry,” he said.
Lachie added that he had to “accept” the consequences of his actions, but was focused on rebuilding trust with Neale because the well-being of their children remained their biggest priority.
