Jennifer Lawrence says she is using her star status to make things easier for up-and-coming actors who may feel like they can’t speak out.
After having “crew members who weren’t approved” watch her film nude scenes in an undisclosed film, the Oscar-winner set down a stern boundary.

“I think I definitely speak up more because I’m also aware of the place that I have in the industry,” she told Alex Cooper on podcast Call Her Daddy.
“So, like there was like an instance on set where crew members who weren’t approved when I was doing nudity were on set or something and I came down hard on it purely because if we’re not setting that kind of principle at the level at which we’re doing it right now, then what on Earth is going to happen to an 18-year-old unknown, if she shows up and there’s people that aren’t approved.
“She’s going to be in a position like, ‘do I say something and get a reputation for being difficult or do I just let these people that I’m not comfortable seeing me naked see me naked?’ So it was important to me to explain that to the people why that was not okay.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Lawrence revealed an awkward interaction with her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper as they will filming a “big make out session at the end of the movie”.
“I said, ‘Aren’t you so sick of kissing?’ And he didn’t like that,” the 36-year-old said.
Lawrence told the podcast host she’d been nervous about working with The Hangover star because “he was the biggest celebrity I think I ever met at that time”.

“I think he laughed but it just was funny,” she added of her 51-year-old co-star.
Clearly the awkwardness didn’t end their friendship with the duo going on to star together in a number of movies.
After the 2012 drama that earned Lawrence an Oscar, the pair were seen together in American Hustle in 2013, followed by 2014’s Serena and 2015’s Joy.
