“I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” the Netflix star began.
“G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other.”
Stause admitted that it was “not hard for me, because I am in love with this person” and added that she doesn’t “have all the information and the reasons” for the breakup.
She continued: “I’m sure just like always with time you get the lessons you’re meant to get. And I know that will happen and I’m gonna heal and everything’s gonna be fine.
Stause, who was previously married to This Is Us actor Justin Hartley, vowed that she is “definitely never doing this again.”
“I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that,” she continued.
The reality star was clearly emotional and admitted she didn’t really know what else to say.

“I feel like a little bit of a failure,” Stause continued.
“There's nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself, so I just have to kind of heal and figure this out.”
The Selling Sunset star added “it’s hard, it’s painful” and explained that she’s a lover and swings big and while this might be a “miss” she had an amazing four years with G.
“It's just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined,” she continued.
“It's really hard and stressful to share this information because I'm kind of going through it, but I will always love G and I don't ever really see that changing.
“And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us.”

G Flip has also addressed the split, sharing a statement on their Instagram account shortly after Strause took to social media to announce the news publicly.
“After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together,” the text post started.
“I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply.
“My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and I’m not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”

G Flip last posted a photo with Stause on their Instagram in July to celebrate their birthday.
Meanwhile, Stause celebrated G Flip’s performance at the AFL Grand Final alongside Kylie Minogue just three weeks ago.
Stause and G Flip started dating in March 2022, just a few months after Stause split from her Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim.
In May 2023, the pair got married – though not legally – in a secret Las Vegas ceremony.

The couple renewed their vows in Australia in July 2024, and again in a medieval-themed celebration at a Los Angeles castle in July 2025.
It wasn’t just weddings for the pair too, with the couple also going through the IVF process in the hopes of having a child together.
Last year Stause opened up about her struggles with their journey towards becoming parents in a raw post on social media.
“There are other alternatives, but this route needed to be tried first bc of timing. So if it’s meant to be it will be. If not, pivot,” she posted on Instagram at the time.

G Flip also spoke about their roller coaster IVF experience with People last September.
“For anyone going through IVF – queer or straight couples or anyone not even in a couple, just even on their own – it’s such a hard thing,” they said.
"And we're experiencing the real kind of sad and dark periods of this moment, where it's like, a little bit of good news, a lot of bad news, a little bit of hope, no hope.
"In the end, you've got to lean on each other and be there for each other, and come out of it still a unit and try not to let it break the relationship or break people individually.
“I really feel for anyone who’s going through it, and I have friends going through it, and God, it’s really sad. It’s very grim.”
