Maddy and Charlotte's Kitchen

Maddy and Charlotte described their week as a "rollercoaster".
They may have finished a stunning kitchen, but they're left without a builder after their rocky relationship with their builder Zak came to end.

But onwards they charged!
"Getting this kitchen right is super important," said Charlotte.
The sisters hoped to add their own coastal twist to Jesse and Paige's grand plans. Was it enough to score them a win?
Scroll through to see what judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox thought of House 1's kitchen.
Heading into Kitchen Week, Maddy and Charlotte didn't know what they were getting into – quite literally.
You see, the kitchen itself was designed by pervious contestants Jesse and Paige back in Week 2!
"It's going to be a surprise to us all," said Maddy as they waited for the preordered parts to arrive.
The sisters spent $15,253 on their kitchen and were proud with what they achieved.
Walking in, the judges seemed to agree and they were grinning ear to ear.
"Wow, this is stunning!" gushed Marty.
Shaynna ran her hands over the stunning Taj Mahal stone benchtop.
"This is the most beautiful natural stone, it almost looks like crystal," she beamed.
Darren pointed out that it was indeed Taj Mahal quartzite.
The judges couldn't get enough of how "delightfully" high quality and "expensive" the stone was.
Here's a close up just oozing luxury.
The Taj Mahal stone was also used across the kitchen splashback.
Shaynna thought it was "risky" to pair the stone with the beautiful oak cabinetry.
Was it a choice that paid off?
Shaynna seemed to think so.
"They've done it to perfection," she praised. "To me this is the perfect combination, it is beautiful."
The judges noted how lucky Maddy and Charlotte were to inherit such beautiful kitchen plans.
Speaking about former contestants Jesse and Paige, Shaynna added: "I feel for them that they're not here, because this is absolutely stunning."
Marty Fox jumped in.
"I just love the fact, that the moment you walk into this house, straight away the buyers will be taken aback by this kitchen," he smiled as he took in the space.
"The sense of luxury, the thick stone, the colour palette, the fluted glass..."
"All these elements, they build that story of luxury the moment they walk in the front door. Which for the buyers, is the first thing they're going to absolutely love," Marty praised.
And the praised continued.
"We don't have a butler's pantry in this kitchen, I couldn't be more happy about that," Darren sung.
The inclusion of a butler's pantry has been a hot debate on The Block over the years.
"This island bench is luxurious, the scale and size of it – I think you can only do these things if you don't think you have to put a butler's pantry in the kitchen," Darren made his case.
"Sometimes you just don't need it."
What they did have however, was a gorgeous appliance corner and coffee station.
Marty noted the excellent storage with beautiful LED strip lighting and pocket sliders.
