Elyse Knowles films fiancé Josh Barker's daring act to save a snake from the road
Block stars Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles have settled right into life in Byron Bay, spending time at the beach, hiking, and enjoying local produce and local family getaways.
But the model gave an insight into some of the more daring and dangerous things they get up to, sharing a video of her fiancé wrangling a huge snake on the road.
In the video, which she posted on her Instagram stories, Josh had hopped out of the car to save the snake, which was on the road and at risk of getting run over by oncoming traffic.

Elyse giggled in the background as she filmed the fearless encounter and muttered "of course" as she watched on from the safety of the car.
As Josh touched the tail of the snake it recoiled, but unfazed he kept reaching for it and eventually grabbed hold of it.

The snake swung around, just missing his legs, as he carried it off the road and to the safety of the paddock nearby.
It's definitely a risky move — grabbing a snake with your bare hands — but it paid off for Josh, who managed to save it and stay unharmed in the process.

They purchased a home in May 2020 and have been doing slight renos on the place, while continuing on with their successful home building and design business J&E Projects.
It's been a very exciting time in their personal lives too. They welcomed a baby boy named Sunny in February this year, a month after announcing their engagement.
In the months since welcoming their gorgeous son they've enjoyed family time exploring Byron Bay. We're sure we'll be seeing a lot more of their adventures as he grows.
