The Block's Dan and Dani Reilly have shared a touching tribute after the devastating loss of their 10-day-old daughter.

The couple announced the passing of their daughter, Billie Vera Reilly, in December 2024.

"Today marks 4 weeks since our Billie girl came into our lives & everything changed," began Dani in an Instagram post on Sunday.

"How is it possible to have both a full & broken heart at the same time?!"

Capturing the moments they had with their daughter Billie, the couple continued: "It's true what they say, time is a thief - but on the other hand, it also gave us so much."

Alongside their "most cherished" photos with Billie, Dani wrote: "The day that will always be known as 'Billie's Day' was one of the best of our lives."

It was the day their daughter met Dan and Dani's two "girls" – their pet dogs Hazel Valentine & Olive June.

"Billie's Day was rounded out with time in the sunshine listening to the birds, music, crafts, bathing, hair brushing, reading The Faraway Tree as a family, & truly precious cuddles we'll remember forever."

Dani said she wanted to "find the light" and share her favourite things or moments about Billie, instead of focusing on what she'll miss.

"I remember seeing her cute little button nose... I would trace my fingers over her nose & face as much as I could," wrote Dani. "I hope I'll always be able to remember what that felt like. Perfection.

"Waking up at midnight with her on my chest – something I had imagined doing everyday I was pregnant.

"Despite the machines & tubes, & how tricky it was to move her, the doctors & nurses aka Billie's Besties, made it possible."

Dani said she loved the "sweet nicknames" they made with Billie's doctors and nurses.

"'Billie Long Limbs' & 'Billie Longstocking'. Our girl was a healthy 4.4kg & 57cm long… we're not really sure where those long limbs were hiding," she said.

But her most favourite moment of all was seeing husband Dan with their daughter.

"The best dad! Watching him brush her hair, putting on her little body balm after bathing, reading to her (& me)… it was all magic," she continued.

The couple thanked everyone at NICU and The Royal Women's Hospital for making those special moments possible. They also announced they have raised over $17,000 in Billie's honour so far.

"Billie, we'll love & celebrate you for an eternity & you'll always be the sun ☀️," the post concluded.

In December 2024, Dan and Dani announced the devastating news that their daughter Billie had passed away at 10-days-old.

The couple told followers in a post shared to Instagram.

"It is with insurmountable grief that we share the news that our daughter Billie, has passed on from this life and into the next at just 10 days young," the couple wrote.

"In Billie's short time in this world, she taught us an intensity of both love and pain we never knew possible. She taught us what really matters.

"Billie was so wanted, so loved and she made us parents… and what an honour it is to be her mummy and daddy. She will always be our daughter."

"We understand there will be questions, and so many of the answers we just don't have yet.

"We'll share more in time but for now we ask for privacy as we work through this together and with our loved ones."

Australia came to know and love Dan and Dani in 2012 when they became contestants on The Block while they were dating and left with a life-changing $448,000.

Dan and Dani returned in 2013 for the The Block All Stars series taking home a profit of $220,000, and Dan later became Foreman on The Block.

The pair tied the knot in 2018 after nine years together in an intimate ceremony on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
