Ricky and Haydn's Guest Bedroom

What a mammoth turnaround it's been for Ricky and Haydn!
They may not have finished their main ensuite last week – which was nothing short of a disaster– but they were "absolutely pumped" to show the judges their second guest bedroom.
"I'm hoping they notice we listen to their advice and critique," Haydn explained.
The pair's guest bedroom sits side-by-side by the one designed in Week 2, and the team tried to incorporate modern twists on their coastal theme using a curved feature wall and LED lights.
The boys were already on cloud nine after winning a Bar Crusher Boat to auction off with their home, so winning at Room Reveals would be the cherry on the cake.
So what did the judges think?
Scroll through to see what Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox thought of their guest bedroom.
The boys spent a total of $13,949 on their space this week.
With a guide of $12,000 from the Commbank Smart Board, they weren't too far off with their budget!
"It certainly feels leaps and bounds ahead of bedroom one," Haydn said. "We've done enough to get the win."
Immediately, when Marty walked in he had three words to say about the room.
"Well done, boys!" he gushed, with a beaming smile on his face.
The room oozed sophistication, with peachy neutral notes complementing the light and breezy atmosphere of the boys' coastal space.
"I actually had to think what house we're in!" Shaynna gasped.
"It's finished!" Marty agreed, while Shaynna continued, "...and stylish! Are we in the boys' room?"
Ricky, wearing a fluorescent hat and rubber-duck printed shirt back at Block HQ, grinned at the validation.
Style icons forever.
Scott Cam told the boys that Shaynna was loving the off-centre feature wall.
"If you want a double bed or you want two singles, you're not governed by a fixed bed head," she said.
"I think sophistication in this room... I think the first time I've said sophistication for the boys.
"I really feel it, and the fact they're understanding the tactility that we've said about the other houses."
You will have seen this bouclé design many times on The Block, and it never fails.
"They've got the bouclé and they've got the linen and there's classiness in here," Shaynna grinned.
"I love it. I love this. A lot," Darren said, pointing out one detail in particular – the shadow line between the ceiling and the walls.
"That takes effort, it takes time. It means you have to have a good builder that knows what they're doing and planned properly, so you can get your kickboards in line with your board with the shadow line in-between."
This stunning piece of artwork on the wall really reflected the calming, neutral theme the boys were going with in their space.
Shaynna said she was so glad the boys had employed a new builder this week, as this room was "levels ahead of what was there before."
"This is streets ahead of any other room they've done," Darren agreed.
Marty said he believed buyers would love the direction the boys were heading in.
Details, details, details.
From the pop of green to the ocean-themed mug, their styling got the tick of approval from all the judges.
