Britt and Taz had come off a high after winning Kids' Bedroom Week but Main Ensuite Week saw the couple putting out fires left, right and centre.

The couple rolled the dice by choosing to build a separate wet area as opposed to a conventional bath and shower.

They'd planned to do an arched entry into the wet area but after a series of setbacks had to revert back to a rectangular entry or be non-compliant.

With their spacious wet area, Britt and Taz hoped their Main Ensuite felt inspired by the local Daylesford spas.

"I hope the judges notice the distinct wet and dry areas in the spa vibe that we're going for," Britt said.

Taz added, "I just want them to go in there and feel luxury."

Walking into the bathroom the trio of judges were immediately overwhelmed.

The first thing Shaynna said was "Oh, there's a lot to take in here."

Marty was the first to point out a layout issue.

With two doors to open he felt the ensuite was "so very tight".

Marty was unsure whether the decision to separate the ensuite into two rooms, a wet and a dry space, was the right one.

"It certainly feels a lot smaller than the other bathrooms," he said.

Darren was mulling through his thoughts about the layout.

"This does feel very definitively, like two spaces, whereas the others didn't, they definitely felt more connected."

There were some big ticks as far as Britt and Taz's Main Ensuite was concerned.

Darren was a huge fan of the "massive vanity" and thought it provided "a lot of amenity".

"It's really nice to have this amount of space to spread stuff out on and this is a great amount of face level storage," he said.

Overall, Darren felt the room was "very peaceful and tranquil".

Shaynna noted that the strength of this Main Ensuite's style was that it was about "drama of layout, not colour".
