'Quitting is not an option... says who?': Jesse and Paige face their most challenging week yet on The Block 2024

Paige described the week as their "most challenging" on The Block and those stresses reached an explosive head in Episode 13.

Initially Paige set on a mission to "get her groove back" but things didn't exactly pan out that way as Guest Bedroom Week threw them curveball after curveball.

Things started to go haywire when Paige couldn't find the rattan bedhead she wanted.

When she thought she'd finally found her dream bedhead it turned out they were decal stickers. That's not going to work!

Then Paige's desired bedside tables from The Block Shop were unavailable because she ordered them too late.

She wasn't convinced they'd have a completed room this week, but Jesse though they'd be fine.

"I am so sick to my stomach of hearing open-ended fallacies," she shoots back.

From that point the couple agreed to go to any lengths to secure some furniture for the space and they did.

There was a catch though. It was a two-and-a-half hour drive away. Yikes.

Jesse volunteered for the long five-hour round trip and managed to get his hands on some furniture. Finally a win for the couple!

But when he returned to site later that night the pressure got all too much for Jesse and Paige and things came to a head during a heated discussion.

Paige vented to Jesse that she couldn't keep doing this for another two months and made a worrying confession to him about potentially leaving.

"I don't feel like I belong here. You make me feel that way and others make me feel that way," she said.

"Quitting is not an option now," Jesse told her.

"Says who?" she replied.

Would the pair be able to recover from all the stresses they'd endured or would it all prove too much?

The Block continues Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
