Exclusive: Watch as Adrian Portelli explains the reason he secretly purchased all five Block houses - and why he won't be back next year

EXCLUSIVE: Billionaire Block bidder Adrian Portelli shocked everyone when he revealed he was in fact the "mystery buyer" that bought Kristian and Mimi's home... meaning he bought every house at the 2024 auction.

He spent a total of $15.03 million on Sunday night, adding to the $16.65 million total he'd already spent on previous Block homes.

This means he's spent a grand total of $31,680,000 on Block properties.

In our exclusive video above, you can see Adrian telling Kristian and Mimi he had in fact snapped up their home – and the reason he decided to do it so secretly.

"You know that right, I bought your house as well? I bought ALL of them!" he laughed in the clip.

Adrian had put in the winning bids for four of the five Block houses, only to later reveal that he also had a secret buyer's agent working on his behalf.

He called the mega-win his own "royal flush".

"I didn't want anyone to know my game plan. So that was my little spin on things to make sure I got the deal done," Adrian explained to 9Entertainment.

"If I bought all the houses coming up to the fifth one, everyone knew what I was going to do.

"I don't think anyone was gonna help with me on that one but I just had to play the game as well."

Adrian also revealed that he felt like sisters Maddy and Charlotte "deserved" the win.

"They had a big following, the girls, amongst my following," he said with a smile.

He also revealed why this year will be his "final year" on The Block, after becoming a staple bidder across multiple seasons.

On Monday morning, Adrian took to Instagram to confirm what he planned to do with the five Block houses he purchased.

All five will be given away as a bundle package in a competition on Adrian's promotions and giveaway platform LMCT+.

"Under New Management!" he wrote alongside a photo of himself at the resort.
