While the aim of The Block's Domain Listing Challenge is to attract potential buyers, Courtney and Grant were also able to shine light on causes very close to their hearts.

With their house full of possible buyers, the couple decided to hold a silent art auction to raise funds and awareness for two incredible charities – Disabled Surfers Association of Australia and Red Rose Foundation.

Courtney and Grant revealed their own touching personal connections to their chosen charities.

The Disabled Surfers Association of Australia (DSAA)'s mission is to put "Smiles On Dials" by taking people of all disabilities surfing in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

"I have a nine-year-old nephew who is autistic," Grant said, highlighting his support for the wonderful work done at the DSAA.

"Activities for kids with disabilities is super important."

Courtney hoped to raise money for Red Rose Foundation, a charity that works to address the damaging impact of domestic violence across communities.

"One of my friends, I was going to say recently but it was over a year ago now, she passed away due to domestic violence," Courtney shared.

"It's been really tough."
