Slap on some sun screen and bring a hat, because this week's surf-inspired challenge is a big one!

During Monday's episode, our Blockheads were told they'd be renovating Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club, a volunteer lifesaving service on Phillip Island.

Two separate teams would have to bring new life to the main function area – and what better way to decide the teams than with a game of poison ball?

Alas, with an odd number of teams All Stars Kyle and Kara had to step in to even the playing field. How about that!

"It was like the opening of Baywatch, and I could hear the music in my head," Ricky said as the two dashed in slow motion down the beach.

Shelley Craft was also unavailable, and so – you guessed it – The Blockinator made a grand return to help out. Foreman Keith, how we've missed you!

The game of poison ball was just as hilarious as you might expect. Kylie was out first, then Maddy and Grant soon followed.

It had to be seen to be believed, and you can watch it below.

Haydn won the challenge, and Ricky and Haydn would get the Super Ks on their team to help with one half of the surf club renovations.

They got the choice of one other couple to join their side, and they chose Kylie and Brad.

The boys got to choose which side of the house they wanted to renovate and "definitely chose the side with a bar!"

Renovations are only just kicking off, and you can see how the teams are handling it below.

We can't wait to see out this one pans out...

The Block airs Sunday at 7:00pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
