Travis Kelce breaks his silence on Taylor Swift wedding: ‘It was a crazy night’

It’s been weeks since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tied the knot and he’s finally broken his silence about their special day. 

The NFL star, 36, spoke out about his wedding in a press conference on Wednesday US time as he spoke about his “fun” off season. 

“It was a fun off season, man,” Kelce said, referring to the wedding as the “best night of [his] life.”

Kelce and Swift, 36, tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden and while some details have leaked, the couple have stayed quite tight-lipped on it all until now. 

“I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration,” he continued. 

But for Kelce, who is currently in training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs, the focus is back on “football, baby.”

This Saturday he’s set to hit the field against the Los Angeles Rams as he embarks on his 14th season. 

For Kelce, this might also be his final season playing professional football. 

Elsewhere in another press conference moment Kelce raved about his star-studded wedding, particularly the location. 

“MSG, man,” he told reporters. 

“I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking. My wife went when I was stuck in mini camp so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.”

Kelce was referencing the 2026 finals game where Swift attended with close pals members of HAIM and actress Mariska Hargitay. 

“It was kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being at that venue, the mecca of all sports venues … [and] get married there,” Kelce continued. 

“I thank the owners for allowing us the opportunity to do that knowing we wanted a private event and everything. It was perfect.”

But the best part for Kelce about the venue - “The AC was cooking”. 

The couple tied the knot in front of 1,000 guests in what has been dubbed the wedding of the century. 

It was a star-studded occasion, with the likes of sporting greats and fellow NFL stars to A-listers like Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Sabrina Carpenter, Brad Pitt, Salena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner among others. 

The bride wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, although there’s still been no official wedding pictures released. 

The ceremony included a deeply personal 20-minute vows from each of them and was officiated by Adam Sandler. 

The couple started dating in the summer of 2023 and Kelce popped the question in August 2025.
