Dior confirms we will get pictures of Taylor Swift’s wedding dress, but there’s a catch
The world will eventually get a front-row seat to every intricate detail of Taylor Swift’s Dior wedding gown, but only when the bride gives the green light.
The fashion house confirmed to The New York Times this week that while the official imagery is ready, they are holding back until Swift shares the first look on her social media pages – but they aren’t sure exactly when that will happen.

Since July 3, the world has been waiting patiently to see pictures from inside Madison Square Garden during Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, which was reported to be a magical greenhouse setting.
It was confirmed ahead of the nuptials that Jonathan Anderson, the creative director at Dior, had designed a bespoke gown for Swift and a suit for Kelce.
The couple also wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes, and Taylor accessorised with Cartier Jewellery.
Dior’s recent couture show in Paris was held a mere three days after the wedding, and according to the publication, there were plenty of whispers at the show and during the preview, speculating whether attendees were about to get a glimpse of the dress.
When asked directly, Anderson “ducked his head and declined to comment”, but a spokesperson for the brand later shared that images and details of the design would soon be released, but the first look will be coming from Swift herself.
It’s something that most fans had already assumed. Swift is known to have taken control of her own narrative ever since her Reputation era, so of course she would want to be the first to share her wedding images – why else would the couple have enforced a strict no phones rule at the event?
But it’s reassuring to know that they are indeed coming. That Swift and Kelce will not be hoarding the joy and secrecy from the millions of fans waiting (im)patiently for the big reveal.
As for when that reveal is going to happen, we, unfortunately, are still left in the dark. Best guess is that the couple are currently enjoying their honeymoon, disconnected from the world, and will promptly share images when they reconnect.
But with their shared net worth, a luxury honeymoon could easily last months.
The only other details we have to update at the moment are a few sweet comments Anderson shared with Women’s Wear Daily about the experience.

It gives us no details about the dress or when we will see the first images of the wedding, but it does reveal that Swift and Anderson worked closely together to create the look, so we know it will have a touch of her creativity.
“It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends,” he said.
“It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding.”
