The secret off-camera gameday ritual between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce we didn't know about until now

Many fans remember where they were the day Taylor Swift was spotted through a window at her first NFL game amid rumours she was dating Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce.

Since that first game at Arrowhead Stadium in September 2023, the pop star has been to many of the Chiefs showdowns to cheer on her boyfriend.

We've seen the superstar walking into the stadium in her glamorous outfits and witnessed her animated reactions caught on the NFL jumbotron. But there's one gameday tradition she and Kelce have managed to keep away from the eyes of the world.

A former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader has revealed what happens once the final whistle blows on the match.

"At the end of the game, she would always meet Travis by the locker room," cheerleader Stefanie Hills shared in a TikTok video.

"All those pictures of her game day outfits walking down red tunnels in Arrowhead are right next to the players' locker rooms, which is right next door to the Chiefs Cheer locker room," she explained.

The cheerleader said she had "so many close encounters" with the singer.

Hills explained there was one game where the cheerleaders waited to see Swift walk by, standing together huddled by the door.

"Maybe she'll take a picture with us!" she recalled them thinking. "We were waiting for, like, a really long time."

Swift most recently attended the Chiefs versus Houston Texans game on January 18 at Arrowhead, marking her first NFL appearance of 2025.

Kelce recently spoke about how much it means to him to have Swift supporting him.

"I think personally, that's the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you," he reflected during an appearance on the The Stephen A. Smith Show

"That's why I wanted to be at the concerts, supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she's doing in life."

Much like Swift has cheered him on at his NFL games, Kelce attended 15 of his girlfriend's Eras Tour shows around the world, including her first concert in Sydney.
