Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is cancer-free just seven months after being diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer.

The Jersey Shore alum, 38, revealed that she’s now “on the other side” of her cancer journey following a hysterectomy on July 31.

“As of right now, I am cancer-free,” she said in a statement to People Magazine. “They got everything out. So I’m definitely happy that I did it.”

“I avoided getting my pap smear for a long time,” she explains. “And once I finally went to the doctors, I feel like it’s just been week after week of doing a procedure, then another procedure, and then a hysterectomy.

“So it’s been a journey and a long road, but I’m happy that I’m on the other side of it and everything is going good.”

Polizzi went on to say she’s still in the middle of recovering, and is taking things slowly.

“I’m trying to listen to my body and give my body grace and not go crazy,” she said. There’s days where I do too much and then I just feel exhausted and I start getting pains.”

“But other than that, I’m finally starting to feel better. I feel like I’m almost getting back to myself.”

She also revealed doctors told her there’s a chance the cancer could return, which has prompted her to reassess her lifestyle choices.

“I feel like I’m eating better, working out, obviously staying on top of my appointments,” she said. “I’m just not avoiding anything and just trying to be the best version of myself.”

The reality star revealed in a video posted to TikTok in February that she had been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer after a cone biopsy.

“My results came back for my cone biopsy, and it came back stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma,” she said.

"Obviously not the news that I was hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God!"

Adenocarcinoma is "a type of cancer that starts in mucus-producing (glandular) cells," according to the Cancer Council.

It occurs higher up in the cervix, making it difficult to diagnose. Adenocarcinomas account for 25 per cent of cervical cancers.

In the video, Polizzi encourages her female followers to stay on top of their health, urging them to get their pap smears done.

"I've been struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now, and now look at me," she said.

"Instead of just putting it off because I didn't want to go and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it. And it was there, cancer is in there.

"But it's stage 1, and it's curable."

In the video, she revealed her best option for treatment was a hysterectomy.

"I think the smart choice here is the hysterectomy. I'll still keep my ovaries, which is a good sign," she said.

"But yeah, gotta get the cervix and uterus out. And then possibly lymph nodes. I guess it all depends on the PET scan."

Polizzi already has three children with her husband, Jionni LaValle.
