Jersey Shore star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi spends Valentine's Day in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus

Reality TV star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi revealed she spent Valentine's Day alone after contracting COVID-19.

The Jersey Shore alum was forced to isolate in her home away from her husband Jionni LaValle and their three children Lorenzo, eight, Giovanna, six, and Angelo, 21 months. 

"Happy Valentine's Day! This ones a bit different.... I have Covid," she shared on Instagram. "I've been isolated in my room since I found out. My family & I have been super cautious & careful, so this is super scary."

The 33-year-old said she experienced a "headache, stuffy nose & mild cough",  which she thought was "just a bad sinus cold".

But her health deteriorated and she knew something else was at play.

"Then I felt super tired and ended up napping all day which made me go get tested," she said.

"Today I just feel groggy. I ended up losing my taste and smell last night. It's fricken weird. I had a greasy cheese pizza & couldn't taste a damn thing. WHAT A SIN."

Polizzi is thankful her husband and kids tested negative for the coronavirus and is happy to keep "hiding out in my bedroom" for them.

And although the mum-of-three spent Valentine's Day alone in her room, her family still found a way to celebrate the occasion.

"I woke up to roses and chocolates thrown on my floor from my family. Still showing my quarantine ass Love on Valentine's Day!" she added.

"Appreciate all of your concerns, but I am ok! Please stay safe everyone! 💋💋"
