Frankie Muniz reveals he’s been living through ‘nightmare’ since divorce
Malcolm in the Middle star turned professional race car driver Frankie Muniz has opened up about the “nightmare” he’s been living following news of his divorce from his wife Paige Price Muniz.
Muniz explained in a candid Instagram post that he’s hit “rock bottom” in the weeks since the pair announced the split.

“The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from,” the post starts.
“Everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn’t wish this season on anyone.”
He went on to say he has “had time to sit with himself” and do “real self-reflection” to uncover the “areas of [his] life that [he] needs to work on.”
“I read that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the thing that wakes you up,” he continued.
“It forces the changes you needed to make all along so you can live the best life possible. That idea has been sitting with me.
“In five years I believe I’ll look back at this exact low point and feel grateful for it, because the high I’ll be standing on then only exists because I went through this.”
The statement continues, with Muniz writing this “isn’t the end of the story” but rather “the part where I start doing the work.”
“If you’re in a low place right now too, you’re not broken. You’re being rebuilt. Let’s keep going!”

The post comes after Muniz announced his divorce from is wife Paige Price in July after 10 years together.
“🚨 Life update! 🚨 Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,” they captioned a joint post on Instagram.
“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realise our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents.
“We share an incredible son who remains the centre of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”
Frankie said he was “endlessly grateful to Paige for everything she’s done for me and our family” and noted she put her dreams on hold so he could chase his.
The former child star admitted she had always been his biggest supporter.
The pair got share a son Mauz, five, born in 2021.

Frankie and Paige first crossed paths in 2016, at the annual Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational, which is held in Indio California.
They went on to get engaged in November 2018 and eloped in October 2019.
The couple had another wedding in February 2020.
