Lachie Neale set for Derby Day debut with new girlfriend Emma Field in a matter of days
AFL star Lachie Neale is set to attend his first public event with new girlfriend Emma Field this weekend, but rumour has it his estranged wife Jules Neale has also been invited.
Neale and Field will reportedly be attending Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday to celebrate the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

The couple will rub shoulders with other high-profile guests at the G.H. Mumm marquee in the exclusive Birdcage Enclosure, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Rumours have emerged that Jules has also been invited to the Melbourne Cup Carnival, however she will reportedly be attending on Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup Day instead, so the former spouses shouldn’t cross paths.
They split in December last year after Jules accused Lachie of betraying her, and claims Lachie had been unfaithful have dominated headlines ever since.
According to multiple reports, Lachie engaged in an alleged affair with Jules’ friend Tess Crossley, who is married to one of his Lions teammates.

Neither Lachie nor Crossley have ever confirmed the rumours.
Despite the scandal, 33-year-old Lachie seems to be moving on with new flame Field, who has been spotted at several of his AFL games.
He went Instagram official with her at the start of the month, when he posted a picture of them celebrating in the Lions locker room after his team’s AFL grand final win.
They also attended the 2026 Brisbane Lion Club Awards together, though that was a private event, unlike Derby Day which is open to the public.

Now he’s gone to the Magpies, but there’s no doubt Field will follow him and support his new club when the 2027 season kicks off.
Jules is moving on in her own way, debuting a new tattoo of a delicate rose on her arm last week.
“I did something so fun today I thought I’d film it and bring you along,” she said in a video posted to social media.
“I don’t know if this is classed as a mid-life crisis tat or not, but I’m going to say no. I went and got a matching tattoo with my baby brother today.”
Jules said the ink “symbolises growing through life together, which is pretty cute for siblings”.

Coincidentally, Lachie revealed a fresh tattoo of his own around the same time.
He added the years “2025” and “2026″ to the Brisbane Lions logo and “2024” tattoo he already had, to symbolise the club’s three consecutive premierships.
