Lachie Neale reveals secret nickname for new flame Emma Field after AFL grand final victory

Lachie Neale and new girlfriend Emma Field aren’t letting critics get in the way of their blossoming romance.

In a social media update showcasing a busy few weeks of their relationship, the AFL star, 33, let slip his secret nickname for his other half Emma, 29.

Emma took to Instagram to share some snaps of her and Lachie spending time together over what she called “a very fun couple of weeks”.

In one picture, the couple embraced and posed for the camera as they celebrated Lachie’s AFL grand final win with the Brisbane Lions last Saturday.

Another snap showed them taking in the sunshine while on an outdoor stroll.

Lachie showed some love for his partner Emma in the comment section, sharing his sweet pet name for her as he wrote: “Effy x”.

With the spectacle of the split of Lachie’s previous relationship, the pair kept their romance out of the public eye, though Emma has been increasingly spotted by the footballer’s side.

During Saturday’s AFL grand final, Emma celebrated from the crowd alongside friends, taking selfies in the stands as Lachie took to the field.

In photos shared from the stands, Emma was spotted showing ultimate support while wearing a customised jacket emblazoned with ‘NEALE 9’ across the back.

Emma is an advertising professional from Queensland. She didn’t have a public profile of her own until she began dating Lachie.

Her social-media presence before being linked to the AFL star saw her share photos from travel, restaurants, social occasions and life with friends.
