In the announcement, the couple revealed they had tragically suffered a miscarriage earlier this year, sharing that they wanted to be open about their experience to support others going through the same grief.
“Sending a mountain of love and strength to everyone on their journeys,” the couple wrote.
“It’s important for us to acknowledge that this is our second pregnancy this year.
“It’s a conversation we never wanted to ignore. Our angel baby expanded our hearts and taught us more than we ever thought possible.
“This little baby will have some very special stars up there.”

It has been a devastating year for the Dawson family following the death of Jordan’s brother Jaryd Dawson.
After he was reported missing, Jaryd was later found dead in Robe, South Australia.
South Australia Police confirmed at the time of his death there were no suspicious circumstances.

Despite the immense grief, Jordan returned to AFL after some time away, paying tribute to his brother each game.
Jaryd’s life was honoured with a standing ovation at the St Kilda v Crows game in April.
“My brother. My idol. The hole in my heart hurts so bad pal but I know you’re at peace,” Jordan wrote of his brother in Apri.
“You made me who I am today and I’m going to pass every bit of that competitive, stubborn, caring and passionate nature onto your beautiful boy.”
Jordan described his late brother Jaryd as his “idol” Nine
Upon winning the AFLPA’s Robert Rose Most Courageous Player Award, Dawson spoke of the importance of mental health.
“The mental health space is something that’s pretty new and pretty raw to me at the moment, but it’s definitely something that I want to learn a bit more about,” he said.
