Kyle Sandilands has called in sick for the second time since the launch of his subscription-based show, Kyle Sandilands Live.
It comes one day after the host, 55, was served with subpoena papers live on-air amid Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s court battle with ARN. Sandilands, however, told his team his absence was due to sickness.

Subscribers were notified less than half an hour before the show was meant to start with an announcement posted on the app by producer Josh Fox.
“Dearest KSL fam, Kylie is unfortunately off sick today,” the announcement read as Fox reassured fans there will still be a show while “the boss is resting up”.
As the show went live newsreader Brooklyn Ross, who took over for the morning, explained: “Kyle is not with us again this morning, unfortunately.
“He’s had a tough week, we saw last week, and I’m OK with him taking some time.”
“I don’t know if he might actually be physically sick ... I’m just fine if Kyle needs a day,” he added.
Executive producer Jaimee “Mayo” Blazquez then read a text she received from the shock jock revealing he was feeling unwell.
“I’m sick mate, won’t be in today, cramps in the gut,” read the message to his team, revealing a sudden onset of an upset stomach.
“I think I’ve got the same thing [wife] Tegan has had the last three days, sorry guys xx.”
Ross reacted to the live update admitting: “Well... he’s not going to like me opening the show by saying ‘have a mental health day’.”

Blazquez did say there was some truth to that statement. She revealed Sandilands still feels a “heavy blanket weighing on him” after the events of the past week.
In what appeared to be an on-air stunt, Sandilands was served papers during Wednesday morning’s live show, with his manager Bruno Bouchet orchestrating the delivery.
Bouchet waltzed into the studio to hand-deliver a subpoena and a notice to produce documents, leaving the host uncharacteristically speechless.

His manager added they had tried to get the papers to Sandilands the night before, but could only reach Bouchet, which is why he brought them to the studio today.
“Um, it’s a subpoena for the trial,” Bouchet explained.
“Oh no, against Jackie?” Sandilands asked, referring to the ongoing lawsuit with ARN and his former co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

“I’m very uncomfortable about that.”
Bouchet clarified that it was also a notice to produce documents for the case.
Newsreader Brooklyn Ross piped up to ask if this meant ARN wanted Sandilands in their corner for their lawsuit against Henderson.
“Yeah,” Bouchet replied.
“Well, that makes me very uncomfortable,” Sandilands reiterated.
