"Born 8:38am on the 28th l the 8th 2025. We are obsessed with you," they wrote.
Chalmers, 27, and Løyning, 24, shared two photos – one showing them holding the newborn, and one of little Astrid bundled in a personalised blanket with her name on it.
The couple shared the news of Løyning's pregnancy in March.
"We can't wait to welcome our little Norwegian princess into the world later this year," they wrote.

Astrid's arrival means the couple will have an extra special guest present when they tie the knot.
Chalmers and Løyning announced their engagement in June 2024, weeks before the Olympic Games in Paris.
They haven't confirmed a date for the event.
Over the past couple of years, the world has caught glimpses of a photo here and there of their love story unfolding in real time via social media.

However, the couple have kept the details of their relationship largely under lock and key.
The athletes first sparked relationship rumours in June 2023, with Løyning seemingly sparked relationship rumours in June 2023 in an Instagram Story.
In December, the swimmer – who had relocated to Adelaide for training in March 2023 – made it official, telling media outlet TV 2, "Yes, we are a couple."
"We have been there for quite some time, since around December," she added, spilling that they had managed to keep their romance under wraps for a whole year.

"That is not the whole reason, but one of the reasons why I went down to train in Australia."
Weeks after his girlfriend let the cat out of the bag, Chalmers confirmed their relationship via an Instagram photo.
