Singer Halsey hospitalised after suffering a seizure: 'Very scary'
Singer Halsey has revealed she was hospitalised after a "very scary" seizure.
In an Instagram post this week Halsey, who uses she/they pronouns, sparked concern after sharing a video of them lying in a hospital bed across from fiancé Avon Jogia.

Halsey later took to X (formerly Twitter) to respond to concerned fans asking about her health.
"I'm home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!" they wrote.

"I had a seizure! Very scary! Don't recommend it!" the singer added in a separate post.
The health scare comes three months after the singer revealed they had been privately battling lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
The Without Me singer first opened up on her health journey to social media on June 5, admitting she was "lucky to be alive".

The pop star shared her official double diagnosis in a follow-up post the next day.

Halsey shared she was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE in 2022 before receiving a following diagnosis of lymphoproliferative disorder.

The singer said both conditions were being "managed or in remission" but would likely have both "for the duration of my life".
Two years on from the diagnosis and the singer said they were "feeling better" and "more grateful than ever to have music to turn to".
The Eastside songstress was previously diagnosed with endometriosis – a condition they have been open about with fans over the years.

Halsey underwent surgery for endometriosis in 2017 and again in 2022.
The recent health scare comes just weeks after Halsey confirmed their engagement to Avan Jogia.
The pop star called Jogia their "fiancé" in a post on X in September 2024.
The couple first sparked dating rumours in September 2023.
