'90s superstar Mandy Moore announces arrival of her third child: 'Lou is here!'

Mandy Moore has welcomed her third child!

The actress announced on social media that she and her husband Taylor Goldsmith have a daughter.

"Lou is here!" she began an Instagram message with a gorgeous photo from the hospital.

"Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season."

"She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are," she continued.

Moore and Goldsmith are already parents to sons August, three, and Oscar, two.

With the announcement, the actress, 40, shared an adorable black and white photograph holding her newborn daughter in a hospital bed after giving birth.

"Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time. 💓💓💓" she referenced her popular TV series This Is Us.

On the show, Moore's character has three children, twins Kevin and Kate and adopted son Kendall, who are nicknamed the "big three".

The comments were inundated with fans pointing out the sweet nod to This Is Us.

"We love Virgos! Congratulations on your big three ❤️❤️❤️" the show's official account commented.

Many celebrities left messages of congratulations for the couple, including One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush, The O.C. star Rachel Bilson and comedian Chelsea Handler.

"Perfect little fam 😍😭" Aussie star Claire Holt, who was in H2O: Just Add Water wrote.

"Congrats beautiful! I love the name!!," High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale commented. Tisdale recently welcomed her second child earlier this month.

Moore announced in May that she and Goldsmith were expecting their third child.

"The third in our own Big Three coming soon," she first referenced the This Is Us connection in her post.

Moore has been married to American singer-songwriter Goldsmith since 2018.

The couple welcomed their first child, son August 'Gus' Harrison in 2021.

A year later in October 2022, they had their second son Oscar 'Ozzie' Bennett.

Moore rose to fame as a singer in the late '90s with her hit debut track Candy.

In the noughties she went on to work as an actress, starring in A Walk to Remember, Chasing Liberty and The Princess Diaries among others.

From 2016 to 2022 she starred as Rebecca Pearson on the drama series This Is Us.
